Yep indeed, Matt. I’ve seen this happen numerous time over my career, mostly with techies where the equivalent it taking a senior, highly skilled developer and escalating her/him to manager. The attention to detail, the focus that made her/him a great developer is exactly the wrong skill set to be a big picture thinker and one who can spin multiple plates at once.

Not saying it’s never a successful transition but it clearly isn’t this time with PeePee.

Trump does have the communication skills of a 3-year-old, but the Swedish statement was just a flat-out lie. It may have been a lie based on the fact the Trump himself was lied to, but it was still a lie. That is a far, far cry from lack of eloquence. Now he’s just trying to backpedal so as not to look quite so stupid. And failing abjectly, as usual.
