He thinks he’s saying whirled peas on his two scoops and nothing less.
On order to save Iran, we had to destroy it.
Did Trump just say something about whirled peas? I wasn’t fully listening. But here is a wonderful Persian recipe for Gheymeh (Yellow Split Peas Stew):

We did that 60 years ago when we replaced their democratically ellected government with the Shah. They could have been a modern democratic state in the Middle East instead of a dictatorship followed by a theocracy, but you know, BP.
Simple rule - the redder, the better. That looks scrumptious.
I would eat that by either alternating spoonfuls from either dish or trying to get a little bit of both on the same spoon. Also, maybe one fried potato slice after each swallow of rice and red sauce. I can also see substituting cooked chicken thigh meat, with the spices roasted into the skin. And plenty of fresh water to drink.
I don’t know what the most shameful thing we’ve done is, but this is in the running.
If I was President Rouhani I’d pitch Iran as a state that will never impose tariffs on European or Asian goods. For those that have never been to Iran it is not a nation of people riding camels and living in tents. It’s a relatively wealthy and advanced state capable of considerable consumption of high end European products. Sanctions will do nothing to move the Persian mind. Didn’t work on Castro for the same reason. They don’t perceive them as we do. Europe should tell Trump to take a fucking hike. Continue their business with Iran and let Trump tell the American people why they can’t have their Mercedes Benze’s anymore. Tell the medical industry why it can’t have Siemen’s diagnostic equipment and the manufacturing industry why German industrial equipment is gone.
The world can do just fine without America.
I’d have to put my money on invading Iraq as a leading contender for our most jacked up decision. Ever.
Eh…WTF?!
But he shook hands with Kim Jong-Un and got an agreement!!! /s
Agreed. Iran was primarily a British joint, Iraq was all us.
Well, it’s all about Israel even at the cost of regional war. It wouldn’t be the first, and that will find support on both sides of the isle (I am specifically thinking of Schumer). I don’t even remember if he voted for the Iran deal.
And you thought it was about oil when 43 and darth preemptively invaded Iraq…Well guess what…this times its about capturing and controlling the expansion of natural gas to the entire EU via the TAG pipeline proposal…which runs from russia thru Isreal…and the russian nuclear proliferation of Saudi Arabia…and the “final” take down of OPEC-Iran…
Trumps already proposed the deal…and it sure as shit looks like the players are on the same page…
As if the USA is a normal country now. Pffffffffftttttttt.
I remember the Iraq debacle before it happened and arguing with friends about the dangers. French had superior intelligence in the area and that stopped them from supporting the US. No question that Iraq war is, so far, the biggest foreign policy blunder US has ever seen. Thanks W and Tony Blair.
“They’ve got to behave like a normal country. That’s the ask.
It’s pretty simple,” said Pompeo
uhh … yeah …
that made me giggle —
Sanctions have been reinstated against Iran in order to boost oil prices and production in the US.
Don’t forget … who higher prices help the most right now …
