Iāll grant them willing to risk more. However, unless the consultant is literally a bag of particularly challenged rocks, Iām not so sure about the other assertion.
To be fair, Trumpās vision of being āso presidentialā probably involves re-defining how a president is supposed to act.

Itās obvious this story comes from the Lewandowski faction of the campaign. Itās also understandable Trump chafes at advice to āact Presidentialā. Heās not resisting the advice because he thinks itās the wrong course of action, but merely because heās incapable of doing it. I agree that at his core, Trump just canāt pull off dignity. On the other hand, I think the Trump campaign is trolling the media and public narrative thatās developed around him. The MSMā¦ hell, the entire media industry has been nothing but abuzz for the last several days over Trump having to make this dramatic personal change so he can win the General. But wait, now we have āinsider informationā that Trump is really struggling against the changeā¦ more media scurrying to talk about and analyze this internal āconflictā. Meanwhile, he stays in the media spotlight, feeds his rabid base who just know heās the real deal and not one of those smarmy politicians, and gets to keep feeding a narrative that allows him to do what heās been doing (be an utter asswipe) with everyone waiting for him to star in his own personal redemption reality show.
