This is the guy who said his net worth changes with his feelings. It certainly sounds like this was a hard-hitting interview with a lot of push-back and follow-up on Trump’s lies and dubious claims. Trump really took his chances going into the lion’s den.

Since his inauguration Trump has given one interview to ABC News, his first as President, never to return. One to NBC, the famous Lester Holt disaster. One to CBS, in which he abruptly walked out on John Dickerson. Other than that it’s been almost exclusively Fox, with a CBN session and occasional sit with former Fox personalities or GOP sycophants (Mike Huckabee, et al). If you don’t watch Fox the only glimpse of Trump you get are his ad hoc inanities pre-board his helicopter or pressers with foreign heads of State. He avoids contact with anyone he isn’t assured observes strict obsequity.
