All the polls I’ve seen show that active duty military supported Trump by pretty wide margins – pretty much in line with their broader demographic: more rural than urban; more HS diploma than college, etc. A lot of them probably thought his speech was great. We’ll see how they feel after the great Iran-American War drags on for a few years.
