Discussion: Trump Primarily Exasperated With Conway, Gary Cohn Over Woodward Book

I guess is payback time for Gary Cohn, Trump should get used to the idea that there is a big crowd of bott-lickers that will turn on him when the moment comes, and Pence is going to be the one with the knive.

I understand that Kellyanne has a whole bag of lollipops in her purse to pacify the toddler when he gets wound up. Thatā€™s how sheā€™s survived.

My guess is that Kellyanne is the author. Sheā€™s well known to be a duplicitous snake and the most frequent leaker in the White House. Perhaps her husbandā€™s tweets are part of a game that she is in on.
Apropos of JMā€™s observation that the writer doesnā€™t care much about immigration: neither does KAC. She doesnā€™t seem like a foreign policy wiz, but definitely Libertarian.

Trump is exasperated again today?? In other news, the sun rose this morning.

Dear Kellyanne:

Here, drink this fortified wine Iā€™ve had made-up especially for you.

Love, Donald.

U.S. media are doing a thorough job of digging into all the domestic aspects of this kerfuffle. Yet we read little of international reactions presented by domestic media. You could go to Der Spiegel, or The Mirror, or Le Monde, but what do our media have to say about their reactions? World leaders, their governments, their staff and advisors, their military, all read this stuff. They must marvel at Trumpā€™s ineptitude and idiocy. Yet they must be similarly concerned, for all the same reasons. Iā€™d like more reporting on the international aspects of our current state of affairs.

I like that all it took to thwart Trump pulling out of a Korean agreement was to steal the letter off his desk.

Its like when a toddler is kicking up a fuss, wanting to play with your phone. You just put it out of sight and they forget. God help us all if Trump ever develops object permanence though.

Iā€™m not buying this. Donnie uses this as a ploy when he is caught outā€¦ā€˜Gosh I didnā€™t know nothng about nobody! How could this slip by me!ā€™ We have seen this several times when he doesnā€™t want ownership of the firing, or decision making process. ALWAYS blame someone and never let it reflect back on him. Even if it WAS true does he actually think he would have been able to VET the Woodward book before it was published? Or did he just want a heads up so he could go on F&F and start screaming ā€˜Itā€™s all lies!ā€™

Seems that with the book and the Anon NYT op-ed - those snakes he fears are taking a front and center part of his brain.

Well, Cohn is history and KellyAnne is his best liar, so, not much room for personnel changes.

I thought the same thing. She gives me the impression that she could replicate othersā€™ diction to throw the scent off of herself and would willingly do so. Plus sheā€™s been there from the beginning.

I think she has more responsibility for Trump being president than Bannon. She was his public face and was on TV endlessly. Although I hated watching her performances, I had to admit that she was good. I know her husband dislikes Trump and takes potshots at him occasionally. That said, I donā€™t think sheā€™s patriotic enough to put country first. Iā€™m going with a 50/50 split between Pence and Kelly. Pence did say this last June at his SBC speech:

Iā€™m a Christian, a conservative, and a Republican, in that order.

Iā€™m pretty sure that order could change depending on the audience.
Of course Kelly would also have a sense of patriotism and a desire for order.
Regardless, Iā€™m afraid the Trump shit show will continue until his numbers fall off with Republicans.

And what are they saying in South Korea now, when they know that Trump is probably going to demand that letter be placed back on his desk so he can sign it tomorrow?

I think the NY Times confirmed the author is male. Also, it doesnā€™t mention abortion and that is KACā€™s number one issue.

Universal distrust, festering suspicion, habitual backstabbing, and ongoing chaos in a system that is far beyond his limited abilities to control: the Trump formula for ā€œGood Governmentā€.

Heā€™s living through a control freakā€™s greatest nightmare, and very well deserves it.
