A&M has big ties to the Bush family (HWB Library on campus), so there might be some discomfort there. And the only way to fill the stadium would be to make attendance compulsory.
UT is in the heart of little San Francisco (Austin).
Texas Tech is in El Paso (Beto’s home town).
“the biggest stadium they can find” probably won’t be on a college campus… maybe Jerry’s world in DFW might be available (but it’s also a reliably blue area of Texas).
And October is the heart of football season and homecoming celebrations…
Beto has been barnstorming through every county in the state (follow his twitter feed to see the size of his town halls), so I think he’ll hold his own even in the GOP strongholds.Thing is, the only way to really fill a stadium would be in a reliably red area of the state – which tend to have smaller venues and less people (voters). Beto will need to overwhelmingly win in the big voter-rich urban areas, then stay even in rural (voter-thin) parts of the state that have helped the GOP maintain their grip.

He’s yours now. It was a three way trade - Kelly Johnson -> to Arizona, Auston Matthews->Canada, bucket of warm spit to Texas. We were all out of warm spit. The whole NAFTA thing is because Trump is worried about getting hosed by Canada again.
Might I suggest someplace like Knippa, TX. Its roomy out there. Of course they will be half way to Del Rio before they realized they missed it.

SInce there was a lot of teeth-gnashing here about Bernie campaigning for Gillum (who was a Hillary supporter), curious mind wants to know, where are the ‘real’ Democratic big guns? Obama, Hillary, Biden. Why aren’t they campaigning for Beto?
All the better! Get the bigly-est most beautiful stadium in Texas, pay a bundle in rent and associated costs, sell a few tickets, have photos and video of mostly empty seats cover the news for a day or two. Perfect!
