Discussion: Trump: People Can 'Figure Out' My Comments About Obama, Radical Islam

They say he likes children, very, very, very much. Which is fine. But some people think it’s very strange, that there’s something going on there. I don’t know.

Trump, like most right-wingers, doesn’t object to ISIS on principle. His problem is not with their brutality itself but only with Americans being on the receiving end of it. That’s why this whole idea of American exceptionalism is so important to right-wingers in general. For them the difference between us and our enemies is not in overt behavior but in some hidden essential fact about our character.

I am really getting that same feeling I got after the Schiavo debacle where the CW spewing asshats say this is Excellent News!!! For Repubicans!!! when, in fact, what they’ve done is jump headfirst into a wood chipper.

Donald J. Trump is beneath contempt.

He left it up to me, “a person,” to determine what he meant by his comments. It is clear he was playing the old, thread bare right wing mime that Obama is a Muslim or in league with Terrorists.

To think this is a deminstration of how crude he is. To try to take political advantage of the latest NRA induced abomination is despicable.

How quickly he’s forgotten about this…

And no one in the MSM will call him on it. Watch.

And now he is doing all over again the “thousands and thousands of them cheered” thing as well. He really doesn’t have any variation in what he says – just keeps recycling what few pieces of shit he made up.

This fascist must not just be defeated – he must be destroyed for the sake of the country and humanity.

Maybe the MSM will at least poll his supports-not-endorsers in the GOP to see what they think he means…

The media is reporting Trump’s hateful comments about the president but notice they really are not calling him out on it. And there has not been so much as a peep from the GOP leaders. Because…black president.

Washington Post just did. And he jerked their credentials for his campaign.

The WaPo has been leading the charge against Trump in the MSM, so it makes some sense that Trump would drop the hammer on them. But this has to have an effect on the rest of the media. They can be cowed. Or they can recognize Trump for what he is, a dangerous demagogue the likes of which this country has never seen.

I think - I’m hopeful - that the MSM is slowly coming around to realize their responsibilities as the so-called Fourth Estate. And that if Trump wins we - and they - can kiss our beloved First Amendment (along with several others in 3-8) goodbye.

It could be bologna made from a trichinosis-ridden hog. You may actually eat it…but if you do, you’ll seriously regret it.

From another articles, those banned include the NY Times, BuzzFeed News, Telemundo, Politico and the Des Moines Register.

… and they happen to be those that have been doing decent coverage of Trump recently… :expressionless:

They really need to just stop attending his news conferences and rant sessions. Stop giving him free airtime and stop allowing him to phone in his interviews.

Cut him off at the knees. Trump relies on the media to spread his fear and hate, and they need to stop giving him the time of day.

Goosebumps–we are capable of such beautiful things…too bad the ugliest of us get all the attention.

edit: to clarify, when I say ‘such beautiful things’, I’m referring to the line of people who gave blood. Also, Oliver is a national treasure. When I say the ugliest of us, I’m referring to Trump, Lt Governor Dan Patrick, and every other GOP troll. I wanted there to be no confusion.

He wants people to figure out the meaning of what he says? He’s obviously confusing an “oracle” for an “orifice.”
