New poll released today has Clinton up by 7 over Trump in Georgia. I still have doubts, but…

So much for getting his campaign back on track.

Oh, wait, it never was on track.

I’m sorry. but the statement “largely uncontroversial Republican economic plans” is mind boggling in and of itself. Of course they are controversial. And they don’t work. By and large, they are based on the theory that the best way to feed the birds is to give the horses more hay. Beyond that, the job-killing regulations Trump wants to kill are things like clean air, clean water, auto safety, child labor laws, etc. - all things Republicans oppose. “Largely uncontroversial?” Really?

One of the main things holding back growth in this country is the uncertainty Donald Jr., Eric and Ivanka have about whether they will be able to take their full inheritance without any taxes whatsoever. Remove the tax on estates above $10.5 million and those three wunderkinds will grow the shit out of this place.

Even if he ends up winning Georgia, make him defend it! No other Republican presidential candidate would have to.

Just hand him an “imported” glass of water from Flint. Maybe that’ll help clear up his thinking. Pretty sure he has no idea what happened there.

The clips I heard suggest that he was calmly reading words from a teleprompter. That’s the only “reboot”; the content is irrelevant.

Do everything I have stated then declare bankruptcy.

i hope he reverts to form soon-- wild, improvising, incoherent, ignoring the speech and teleprompter. He’s more horrible that way, and should frighten those who aren’t in thrall to him.

TelePrompTer?? What? Only idiots use TelePromTers, according to that genius, Sean Hannity.

Just what we need, a draft dodging coward, lying asshole, loser, and multi-time bankrupt, who is also mentally challenged…he’ll sure fix the economy.

Yes!!! Can you spell K.A.N.S.A.S? Look no further for the ‘labs of democracy’ touted by the GOPpers.

Please. Teleprompter or not, the substance was just as incoherent as ever. It was hard to tell how much he cribbed from Juan Peron, and how much he thought up while consulting his chief economic adviser, Donald J. Trump.

As President, Trump vowed to “jump-start America,” noting, “It can be done, and it won’t even be that hard.”

He then promised to put a man on the Sun before this decade is out. He said it would be so easy, because he’s determined that, by flying at night to avoid the heat…

If he really hopes to turn his campaign around, he’ll have to hire competent subject matter advisors and ask them to devise actual policies, based on data. Oh, and stop packing every speech with demonstrable lies. That tends to the headline, anymore, from a Trump event.

Same ol’, same ol’ trickle down economics that Repugs have been peddling for decades. Cutting taxes does not create jobs – especially repealing the estate tax. Increased demand creates jobs, and and demand increases when more people have jobs and more disposable income. At this point, the only real way to increase jobs is to start investing public dollars into massive infrastructure improvements, modernization, and expansion: roads & highways, rail, power grids, water systems, health care facilities, etc, etc, etc. That creates new jobs, high paying jobs for engineers, technicians , architects, skilled and unskilled labor, project managers and planners. And those additional jobs create demands for increased services, new and more products, more leisure opportunities, etc. I know, I know, its so Keynesian, but history has proven that it works, and Repugs have fought against this approach from time immemorial because instead of lining the pockets of their wealthy supporters and themselves it puts money into the pockets of workers who really need it.
