We have a winner! And here I thought Carson’s “if the Jews had guns, WW II would have been different” would be the top of the top. I may have been wrong though.
I think that if the citizens of Hiroshima and Nagasaki had guns, things would have worked out much differently, too.

Yes, Donald, the Paris attacks would’ve been “much, much different” if victim’s had guns; Paris life itself would “much, much different” if every Parisian who might ever be victimized were already packing heat. You should use your yuuuge influence and personal charm to convince the appropriate French officials to change their gun laws. Do you prefer open or concealed carry?

What he means is that the citizens could have maned the boarder, just like our governors in the right to carry states hope will happen to prevent the refuges from entering.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump says the terror attacks in Paris would have been “a much, much different situation” had the victims been armed with guns.
Because as one can plainly see from the Middle East, ready availability of firearms make suicide bombings and other types of terrorist attacks completely impossible.

Hey he found something that works and sticks with it…one of the most consistent candidates in the race.
Yeah, a crowd of people packed into a theater watching a live band in the dark would have stopped a determined attacker armed with a fully automatic weapon.

What would make MUCH more sense would be to have armed guards posted at the entrance. That’s how one of the bombers was stopped before they entered the soccer stadium.
But average citizens being armed? Complete lunacy. Not every problem can be stopped by arming citizens, you fucking twit.

Of course, there were Muslim victims, too. So how would you figure out who the “Good” Muslims were from the “Bad” Muslims before the shooting started???
The thing about these John Wayne wannabes is: they always think that they’d be John Wayne. But to me, or to anyone else, they’re just as likely to be the bad guy as the good guy. And end up dead because of it/
And then those people being shot by police not able to tell between the good guy with a gun who has killed civilians (accidently) and a bad guy with a gun who has killed civilians (on purpose)…
Which of course is the same issue that would be faced here in the U.S. under these conditions.

We know that Trump is an idiot, but with this statement he has outdone himself. If the victims had guns then the death toll would have been ten times (or more) higher and all of Paris would still be burning today.
