It demonstrates that our immigration system is severely broken and needs to be fixed immediately. It is my greatest hope that our “lawmakers” return to work and actually do their jobs,” he said.

So, the fact that this sh*t-for-brains is only now going to start implementing E-Verify for the Rump Org. somehow indicates that the immigration system is broken. Yup, the system is most certainly broken when you can simply not use it and then assign blame when you get caught.

PS: Does this numbnuts understand that the undocumented coming forward have been working at Rump’s properties for YEARS?

“I must say, for me personally, this whole thing is truly heartbreaking,” he added. “Our employees are like family but when presented with fake documents, an employer has little choice.”

He forgets the part where management helped get these fake documents, they colluded with the illegals to take jobs away from Americans, or something something.

“As a company we take this obligation very seriously”

The Trump Org. certainly has the same penchant for honesty and integrity as it’s founder, Individual 1.

This issue is not unique to the Chump Org. No shit. But the Chump Org, uniquely, is the foremost immigrant basher in the nation, and it’s sole criminal owner just cost the US at least 20 billion (more than he has ever seen in his life) and cost millions of households misery so he could grandstand on this one topic

E-Verify has been around for YEARS, it’s just that you have to pay for it and have a desire to hire documented workers, two things which Trump has zero desire to do!

For the life of me I can’t understand how this easily discovered scandal didn’t bring him down during the election other than the MSM was so busy enjoying the circus they just never vetted Trump on any level.

Trump imports workers, imports his wives (who are likely spies) then shits on Americans by hiring undocumented workers, he then treats all of them like shit, same way he treats us!

Shouldn’t we be hearing about an HR head that is stepping down or similar. For an organization that large, they have to have one. They can feign ignorance, but anyone on the field should know it is available and should be used.

Up next - unpaid Social Security taxes.

Actually I applaud their decision to use e-verify. I do wonder if this decision singles a change that will soon be announced by the Trump administration.

Any employer who fails to use eVerify is likely intentionally circumventing the law.

If you think we have an undocumented worker problem, and you want to solve it, than support a plan that requires any employer who fails to use the systems in place and gets caught should be required to surrender their CEO to the authorities, plead guilty, and serve 10-days in jail, pay a maximum fine, and be forever labeled as a felon. Plus, the company can no longer do business with any federal or state governmental agency for ten years.

The problem would be solved overnight.

That’s assuming we have a problem.

The only reason that the Trump org is not using e-Verify is because they want to have plausible deniability when caught hiring undocumented workers. Payroll and HR services companies have been offering inexpensive easy to use applications for over a decade. You can understand a family owned farm not wanting to use it for a guy that that’s going to work for them two weeks. But for a large organization like Trump’s? Please.

“As a company we take this obligation very seriously and when faced with a situation in which an employee has presented false and fraudulent documentation, we will take appropriate action.”

In Spanish there is a customary reply for Bullshit of this magnitude. “Si, Pepe.”

Hellooooo - shouldn’t all of the related items - here and elsewhere start with the obvious:

“Trump Resorts acknowledge long standing practice of not checking worker’s legal immigration status.”

Works sort of like “Cool story, bro.”

Or my favorite English expression of this nature, deployed at me by my then early elementary school son:
“Riiiiiiiight.”

Or, from my childhood, Mr. Ed’s elongated bullshit scolding of “Wiiiiilburrr.”

Ruh Roh Shaggy, paying real wages will probably send Trump Inc. into yet another bankruptcy!

I’ve never dealt with the employer-side forms involved in FICA reporting/payments, but I know the SSA sends employees annual reports of their SS-credited earnings, and I know the IRS sends employees corresponding tax forms (boxes on W-2 and 1099). So I assume each pay period, SSA gets a full listing of each employee by SSN, their pay, and the FICA withholding amount. Is there a way an employer could do this without reporting/crediting whatever false identity the employee used when hired? If not, then the employer must not be paying FICA taxes for those employees. That’s a federal crime, and in that circumstance there’s probably a failure to pay state taxes for these same individuals, in states with a payroll tax.

I mean, this is hypocrisy at it’s most naked, intense, real-time, world-class levels.
