To quote George Takei, “Oh myyyyyyyyy!”
The greenskeepers at Trump Bedminster are going to have a hell of a time filling in the divots after this weekend.
Now THIS is gettin’ good!
Is that the sound of dimes dropping, I wonder??
What we have here is classic RFSS (Rats Fleeing Sinking Ship)
Quite a week, quite a Friday, and lunch time is yet to come…
Now to make make my day complete, perhaps Mueller will go for a three-fer and indict Jr., Ivanka, and Jared.
Family business CFO wars are good, and easy to win.
The eagle still flies womps on Friday!
So here’s the thing about that: to be granted immunity he had to be in some kind of legal danger. And Cohen’s behavior (the payoff shuffle in particular) is not the only legal danger Weisselberg would logically be in. At the very least he’s on the hook for the trump “foundation” and possible a whole lot more.
IANAL: What corporate information is he allowed to turn over in his capacity as CFO, or is he simply allowed to testify to his own actions?
This tells you something about just how much the investigators already know. To turn this guy they presumably have a solid paper trail (or its electronic equivalent) that puts the entire Trump organization in their sights. The Trumpanzee himself may not be indictable, but I wager that Donny Jr. is not going to sleep too soundly tonight.
Ruh roh.
Say good-bye, Traitor Trump. From here on out, the rest of your term is just building up to resignation or impeachment & removal from office. Weisselberg knows where all the invoices and accounting records are buried.
It looks like this is a good time to make my first post declaring this to be the best infrastructure week ever!!!
We need a new term for this level of flipping.
And jail time? Please!
“I barely knew him. I kept him around as CFO because he worked for my father. Maybe saw him 3 times in 40 years.”
You know this is coming.
