Trump: “He lied! [Bush] got us into the war with lies! And, I mean, look at the trouble Bill Clinton got into with something that was totally unimportant, and they tried to impeach him, which was nonsense.”
They didn’t “try” to impeach him — they did impeach him. Donnie, read that document, what’s it called? Oh yeah, the Constitution.
Yes. Bob Dole, married twice. Ronald Reagan, married twice. Newt Gingrich, married three times. Rudy Giuliani,* married three times. Bill Clinton? Married once.
CNN may have “unearthed” it but will they confront Trump with it? Of course not! Wolf Blitzer et al. want something to confront Clinton with, not Trump.
The Clintons had there ups and downs, theirs was not the only marriage that has been through that, but they worked it out, kept their marriage together and look genuinely in love and happy to be growing old together.
Trump, on the other hand is on his 3rd wife and jokes in public that he wishes he could bone his own daughter … I don’t see an upside for him in the long run if he decides to go this route.
Women are objects to Trump. Want proof, Trump changes his women like most people change their cars. He sees a shiny new model and dumps the old. I am sick of his misogyny.
I’m so sick of liberals trying to make it like a great businessman lying is a bad thing. It’s almost as bad as them criticizing him for stirring up hatred and offering stupid policy positions. This Donald Trump folks! We’re just lucky he’s talking to us!
Trump should leave Bill Clintons past in the past. As an man that cheated with wife #2 while still married to wife #1, then dumped wife #2 and married wife #3 that leaves little to the imagination in her scantilly clad atire, he is hardly one to claim moral high ground as the sex and fidelity police. Bill may have been a lousy husband, but the Clintons are still together and seem to be a very united team and a tight family.
Where is the abuse? It appears everyone was consenting. Unlike Trump, Bill did not insult or denigrate these women. Also, Bill managed to stay married to one woman. Not three.
Blaming the wife for the husband’s infidelities is a strategy that wil come back to bite Donald in the ass.
But if he had to rely primarily on critiquing his opponents’ policy positions, Trump would be at a loss for words.
Donald Trump is a pig, and pigs need to squeal to get attention.
“I’m dubbed as a world class businessman, which frankly that’s what I am, and I got along with everybody,” Trump said. “I got along with the Clintons.”
What I find very interesting is that for all the coverage of Trump and his campaign, I haven’t seen anyone focus on a question re. “Trump, the world-class businessman.” And that is if (God forbid) he is elected President, how does he plan to eliminate both actual conflict of interest, and even the appearance thereof? Just about every decision he would make as President would impact one or more of his business interests.
HRC to Trump: You mean to tell me that such a thin-skinned, aggressively litigious, raging narcissistic, little man, one who has been married three times, each one younger than the last, one who picks a fight with the media every time someone dares not to address him as “the prettiest princess of all”, has never cheated on his wife? Seriously, is there anyone dumb enough to believe that? Here’s a man who brags about having declared bankruptcy four times, who has written book after book praising himself for taking every opportunity to cheat and swindle his rivals, yet I’m to believe he draws the line with his wedding vows? C’mon.
This is probably why the Republican Establishment™ seems to fear the Rump so much. He blurts out whatever pops into his head. It’s not courage or truth telling, he’s a loose cannon.
Every good insult comic has a semiplausible theory of how they diminish the power of racism by making fun of it, or help people face uncomfortable truths by making them laugh about them, or some such. Rump isn’t even a good insult comic.
