It’s weird to see this information juxtaposed next to his over-the-top press conference on Trump’s physical results. Is it possible he was pressured to deliver such an upbeat assessment? Trump loves loyalty in his appointees, and kompromat is a great way to guarantee loyalty.
“But what is truth? Is truth unchanging law? We both have truths. Are mine the same as yours?”
Honestly, how much political capital does Fat Nixon even have at this point? Who is really listening to him, who looks to him for guidance, who supports his policies (whatever the hell they are!) or who is courting his backing to boost their own political career?
From what I can see, he’s toxic sludge. Very few want to get close.
But to your point, yeah, he’d only spend what’s left in his own political capital coin purse to benefit himself and will certainly steal from anyone who gets close enough for him to grab their political capital.
Party animal Dr. Ronny is now just a skidmark hidden at the bottom of Spanky’s laundry basket.
“We’ll see what happens.” God, how many times has he said that? How many times has he told us about these “great” people with great families? And given that he thinks he’s the greatest and the best, I guess that’s a pretty low bar. Kind of explains a lot.
Unless I dreamed it, I think at the time Trump nominated Jackson there was some suggestion that he had been considering others for the position – we just don’t know who those others were.
Given Jackson’s lack of management experience, are we supposed to believe that he was the best of those under consideration?
Given what we’ve seen from Trump’s current crop of Cabinet Secretaries, I see no reason to think that Trump won’t continue to nominate without vetting, and will inevitably choose people who have little experience or terrible judgment, or both.
By extension, I have serious doubts about anyone who would even want to be considered for a position, and greater doubts about anyone who would accept a position. Working for this administration is a career-killer - well, unless going to work for Fox is considered an advancement.
“Now that he showed his loyalty by lying about my health, he’s on his own…oh…and have the bus go back and forth a few times, just to be sure.”
I have no fucking idea what I’m doing…
…and I have to ask Hannity to explain my position.
Jeez. What an inspiring man. In a normal business, his personnel would be on tranqs.
I’m fully convinced that tRump chooses compromised individuals because he can blackmail them into compliance.
He got Jackson to give him glowing physical exam results via blackmail, not the promise of career advancement.
“Giving him an out”? More like throwin’ momma from the train. Good job, Ronny!
I would expect just plain old just drinking on the job to be grounds for termination… but this guy has a pattern of excessive drinking on the job? If even just “drinking on the job”, why is this guy still a practicing physician and not dishonorably discharged? #UCMJ
He supplied Penicillin for his superior officers.
I’ve actually seen him interviewed on tv so he’s very real.
It is odd that he just told the world, this guy is not a political person. Being so is a need in a large organization. You have to honor the diplomacy and statecraft required.
Congresspeople doing their job based on the evidence = vicious people.
The normal Constitutional process is “ugly and disgusting”.
That’s our Donald.
Following up on my comment on tRump possibly blackmailing Jackson, I suspect that among tRump’s fixer Michael Cohen’s records is a trove of extortion material on prominent politicians, primarily Republicans.

tRump admires and imagines himself as a mob boss, so his MO is that of organized crime.
Extortion is one of the top items on the list.
Thus his base moves to the Jackson column. Hey the guy’s getting a bum deal. He’s getting shit on.
Just like us.
Trump is a master when it comes to making use of his base’s limitless sense of victimhood. It’s such a laugh when they call us snowflakes.
One has to wonder if Dr. Ronny has a signed NDA (which could never be enforced, but still…) beyond the standard doctor/patient confidentiality agreement.
I feel certain that, if Michelle or Barack had consulted with Dr. Ronny for themselves or their kids or her mom and had Dr. Ronny had been drinking on the job, one of them would have known it right away and addressed it. This never would have been ignored as just one more thing that they had to put up with.
Jackson could have avoided watching his reputation go up in flames, but no, ego or something else won out.
Nice going.
