One of tRumps reasons to start (continue) the campaign trail is so he can hit every golf course and McDonalds around the country at taxpayer’s expense and later brag about it. As someone that doesn’t pay taxes this has got to be the ultimate irony.

Reality, last night as I helped my daughter with her overnight deliveries I heard time and time again people’s frustration that here in TN the REPUGS continued to prosper. Based on what I heard the GOP continuing to win had zero to do with The Donald but 100% with gerrymandering and just laziness of voters to pull any lever other than ®. In my mind that does not bode well for the long term.
If tRump tries to claim credit he has surely not red the tea leaves. Many of those voices last night were from people who admit they had voted for him and are very disappointed and regret their 2016 vote. In most cases I heard, “I’d just wish he would shut up. I wish he’d work on jobs and the economy and forget about the fear mongering”. I was surprised by those comments as I expected joy/happiness that the GOP continued to hold super majority status.
So while I am happy the Democrats took the House while being disappointed that they did not do better, I am cautiously optimistic about the future. So tRump go on campaigning as I see that as the path of failure on your part.

But this is the dawn of a new day. The soon to be former Speaker of the House told us “As a country and a government we must find a way to come together to find common ground and build on the successes of this Congress.” Surely his wisdom, experience and expertise provide him with foresight that is foreign to us mere commoners.

He will continue to preach to his choir of aging, bigoted, white men and women. Guess what, by the time 2020 rolls around, they will be well on their way to becoming a minority in this country, and hopefully, being completely outnumbered in the voting populace. Let’s not forget, Director Mueller has yet to complete his investigation and issue his report. Methinks the president* is skating on very thin ice, and I hope he falls in.
