Didn’t think about that last night but it occurs to me this morning one reason for her to make a point of saying that is that is presumably they’re getting killed with women, and mocking a guy who resigned basically for making a dumb joke and being a little handsy only emphasizes the contrast. I can only imagine what her canvassers have been hearing on people’s doorsteps. So she’s distancing herself from him to his face at his own rally. Call me a wishful thinker but that suggests things are brutal out there.

I don’t like The Dumpster, haven’t since 90s when I was on other side of negotiation table. Mocking is about all Trump has to offer. He would be all good company, good people, etc until you did not rubber stamp whatever he wanted, then mock, mock, failure, afraid, fake, and more. The Dumpster is a one trick conman, old in the 90s, much older now. So sad.

Heidi Heitkamp got record donations yesterday - and somehow, I don’t think think that is going in the opposite direction quite as much. I’d be very curious to find out if, for example, Capito is receiving a lot from her ‘yes’ vote. I predict this will push Heitkamp up a lot - and you’d better believe others (like Gardner in Colorado) are watching. People know when a politician does the right thing, especially when it’s so rare.

And btw, her proper response should have been, “I may disagree with Al politically, but he did what he thought was the right thing and I respect him for that.”
