Discussion: Trump Mistakenly Claims He Saw Video Of Cash Being Delivered To Iran

I just had one of my German colleagues stop by my office. We both agreed that if this campaign were happening in a film or a book, it would be panned by the critics. No, not panned, lambasted…

I told my colleague it’s become its own reality show. Each day, bigger, better bullpucky. The more over the top the better.

Sure can’t wait for Don the Con to get voted off the island, though.

If the Iranians have money pouring off a plane, they’re pretty liquid.

Except that 45% of the population puts a “white” in front of “lies”…and says, oh, well, now, tsk-tsk, Donnie…

Sort of tongue in cheek. This man doesn’t belong anywhere near national security issues.

And if Obama thinks he’s not fit to be President, he ought to deny him those briefings.

I really think something is wrong with this man. I think he sees what he WANTS to see and interprets it accordingly. He builds up something so much in his mind that he makes it come true. Perhaps this is from his many years of building things - he imagines something and sets out to make it so. I don’t know, but he can’t seem to seperate his imagination from reality.

Not a good quality for a president. I truly believe there is something mentally wrong with him.

Hey, in fairness to Drumpf, the drugs the Russians used on him during his re-programming are bound to cause flashbacks, and delusions, even years later.

Cut him some slack…

Mistakenly? No. He lied.

And that is the problem,@zsak His world doesn’t comport to reality even when donnie isn’t at a rally tossing red meat to hos troops.

I’m not sure I’d call this lying. People who know him have said he creates his own reality. We all do it a little, we confabulate things in memory and weave them into stories we tell, but Donald takes it all the way to crazyland in the degree he does it, the frequency, and the way it’s done to create illusory facts that support his bullshit. He’s like George Constanza, he believes or half-believes it as he says it. Because he’s a crazy person. You can’t say it often enough.

I heard they are going to make sure there are no words more than two syllables long and deliver the briefing in the form of a comic book (alternatively, a connect-the-dots for comprehension skills).

The only reassurance is that Hillary will be able to read between the lines and ask the right questions. Donnie will just keep asking where the nukes are…

Trump: I saw the video where the electronic money transfer took place. I can see the bits as they pass thru internet pipes.

Putting aside the completely fabricated nature of all of this . . .
Does Donnie Duncecap actually believe that if the United States government was intending to pay the government of Iran $400 million, that transaction would be done by delivering CURRENCY - i.e., bound stacks of 50’s and 100’s - to be off-loaded from the cargo hold of an airplane? Not a wire transfer, or some form of electronic transfer of funds from one account to another, but by loading up an airplane with hundred dollar bills. Do his idiot followers believe this as well? He is either the most fantastically stupid man in the history of humanity, or he believes his followers are.

The unloaded cash video is on the same reel with those hordes of Muslms dancing in the streets of New Jersey when the towers came down.

Everyone I’ve read on the briefing subject says they’re very general, an overview of what the security folks think are the main problems. Nothing much super-secret. And with his rather (ahem) limited attention span, Trump would half-listen fidgeting in his chair until he saw a squirrel out on the lawn or something and that would be it, he wouldn’t hear another word.

Hey, they do it in the movies and on TV, which is Donnie’s only source of information (and you can bet PBS isn’t in his cable plan).
