Discussion: Trump: 'Many People At The Higher Ends Of Intelligence' Loved Putin Presser

This is what happens when a narcissist is forced to face reality. The next few days won’t be pretty.

Funny, serious and sad on the first read. Didn’t expect that.

‘Many People At The Higher Ends Of Intelligence’

We have top men working on it right now.
Who?
Top… men.

I don’t know who said this on an earlier comment thread, but it was an astute observation: Donnie is someone who uses extravagant syntax and phrasings in an effort to show how bigly smart he is and that he went to an Ivy League school.

It reveals someone who is wholly insecure, like he took all the wrong lessons from his Skymall book on how to speak like a Harvard graduate. His performance in Helsinki was disgraceful—a submissive, cowardly man was at the podium, not a President of the United States. Don knows the walls are closing in fast, and there is a real possibility he will face a Congress that is hostile to him in 2019 (one with the power to subpoena his tax returns).

Question is, how much longer can we as a people tolerate this Buffoon?

I think I have another. The graph was upside down.

“So many people at the higher ends of intelligence loved my press conference performance in Helsinki.”

These guys, for instance …

Sort of elitist attitude ?

Edit: OK, I give up ! What does “At the higher ends of intelligence” even mean ?

Intelligent people ? High-ranking Intelligence officials ? “Ends” (there are more than one ?) instead of “Levels”

That seems to have always been true. His followers perceive it as a feature and don’t understand the damage it’s doing. But what interests me is even they are troubled by the tweeting. Somehow they can’t deny their subliminal sense that it’s coming from a part of him that isn’t positive at all. It’s the one thing they can’t wave away.

So much so that your own DNI felt compelled to immediately come out and reiterate the conclusions he’d put out before, in direct contradiction to you.

I took an advanced course of study in Pastafarian ontology at Unseen University (UU.)

And speaking as a phi, I found his performance about as expected substancewise, as in, there wasn’t any. PR-wise, it was more hideously embarrassing than I could have nightmared. Really, it’s past time I started lowering my expectations.

Poor, poor Donnie. He’s so stupid.

Pathetic.

Absolutely. If more of his base would reject the patter and the lies, he’d be forced to modify his behavior. But he was right about one thing: he could murder someone in Times Square and the 40 percent wouldn’t care. They’d be there cheering him on, saying the victim deserved it.

too bad the “MANY” are part of the Russian and NOT the US intelligence services.

We got along well which truly bothered many haters who wanted to see a boxing match.

Is Donald Trump so stupid he can’t see that the only reason Putin “got along well” with him is that he was giving Putin everything that Putin wanted?

If so, how does he manage to breathe?

“People at the higher ends of intelligence” were horrified that the President ignored their advice and briefing notes and instead provided Putin with a world stage where he had Trump groveling and kowtowing before the international press. Nothing good will come of this for the United States or global democracies.

Can you imagine the party Putin and his pals had after Spankee left?? Seriously, they probably drank enough celebratory vodka to sink a battleship.

He’s not about to name one: they are all Russian.

Last I tested, I came in at the high 130’s for IQ.

No, I didn’t love the presser. Treason.

'Nuff said.
