Discussion: Trump Makes Second Ever Visit To Dover, Pays Tribute To Americans Killed In Syria

Deflection Donnie pandering shamelessly.

Yes he is. Groveling Don the Con, trying to boost those rapidly deflating approval ratings that were at record lows to begin with.

After the first time he reportedly said he never wanted to do it again. Daunted, bored, it hardly matters why. You don’t want him anywhere near grieving people. It’s obvious now he’s doing everything he can to perform the role of a legitimate president, as nearly has he can grasp what that is, which is not at all.

“4 very special people”

Class would be spelling out “four” before making it sound like he is talking about his chocolate cake.

Got sympathy and compassion? I don’t think so.

Meanwhile

"Many people are saying that the Mainstream Media will have a very hard time restoring credibility "

He is back at that again. I have been a variety of places yesterday. The grocery store, the gas station, the pharmacy, the barber, the park, the pet store and more. Not a whisper.

Cue Lindsey Graham: “This is the day that DJT became Preshitdential.”

Ermagerd, you aren’t hearing many people talking about the collapsed credibility of the Mainstream Media? And the total exoneration of the guy who’s told literally thousands of lies in office?

Yeah, wonder what highly inappropriate things he said to the family.

Some how I believe a yuuge faux pas is in the offing for today. Something like meeting the caskets at Dover, dispersing platitudes to the grieving family members and then going on to his big afternoon statement and declaring ISIS defeated and his intention to deploy the troops in Syria to our southern border until the wall is built. Snark, but I can see it.

Generalissimo Bone Spurs should double time his fat ass over to Syria and tell tose ISIS that they’ve lost, it’s over and to just stop right now.

Then feed them some good American Fast Food.

[/quote]Kellyanne, Sarah, Mike Pence, Rudy, and Jarvanka obviously don’t hang out at your grocery store, gas station, pharmacy, barber, park, or pet store. You need to start hanging out with the cool kids.

And many people (see above) are saying that this totally proves there was no collusion and no obstruction, so Mueller is closing shop immediately and his report will just say, “Sorry about the Witch Hunt, Mr. Greatest and Smartest President of All Time Who Won The Biggest Victory Ever!”

And predictably we find that meeting with grieving families is the hardest thing Trump has to do as president. Don’t you feel sorry for him, having to do, even if only now and then, such a difficult thing?

it just doesn’t have that ’ zing ’ … ya know …

like the one ya get from ripping kids away their parents –

That sounds manly.

And, for a baby, that’s a turn-on.

I was just struck by his reflexively phrasing it as about him. If once, out of all the times he opens his mouth in a day or week or year, if there were ever one time he might want to use a different pronoun than “I,” this would be the time. But nope.

It’s worse than having to spend Christmas and New Year’s alone in the White House (poor him).

Hey, I just realized we don’t have to feel sorry for him (ETA: not that I ever would). He feels sorry for himself to an exponential degree sufficient for everyone.
