This is the outrage of the day as far as I’m concerned, but the day is still young:
This is how American trade policy and our foreign affairs are currently being devised and constructed…All of it is shaped and designed with tRump properties in mind, with the emoluments flowing into the tRump Organization like honey. The entire presidency continues to be one big pay-to-play grifting operation. A half a billion dollars by China for tRump and American interests are the least of their concerns. Just ask the soybean farmers.
How can Republicans just stand idly by and do nothing about this type of thing, over and over again? Its treasonous. Its been over a year now and the GOoPers sit there like a bunch of potted plants pretending none of this matters.
63,000,000 of your fellow citizens fervently wanted this type of arrangement to happen. It’s difficult to argue something is an outrage when approximately half the populace is OK with it.
Even Nixon had his supporters and a percentage of the country still with him until the day he was forced out of office after breaking the law. For a certain portion of the country, that kind of thing does not change, but nor does that make it any more right. And yes, it is dispiriting to see that there are still those people out there that are so tribal in their allegiance that nothing will get them to see how much damage is being done by some people in their own party, including and especially this President and his money-grubbing family.
leakers are traitors and cowards, and we will find out who they are!
Am I the only one who sees it? Am I the only one who gets that his tweets are a direct pipeline from the things that most terrify the tiny little ego hidden behind all the bluster and bombast to the outside world, that he deals with the constant terror by projecting outward onto those who threaten or psychically wound him from behind the safety of his real and virtual walls? Day on day you see it and yet it’s noticed by by so few that it might as well not be happening. Especially given that most of in the psychological and psychiatric professions are gagged by ethical rules. Not that the overwhelming majority of people think what they say has validity anyway. Z
It’s a huge “tell” when someone uses “over” with “exaggerate”; it means he’s just not that sharp. It’s like saying “widow woman”. Trump is the perfect rube to use a redundant term like “over exaggerate”. He’s the same fool who spells “role”, “roll” and actually thinks the word “unprecedented” is spelled “unpresidented”. He’s a dullard and a bully and reveals his gross incompetence every time he opens his maw or thumbs a Tweet.
Time for lying Donnie to check a dictionary – or have Hannity check it for him. If I leak secret information that will harm my country, you can call me a traitor, although there have been and no doubt are circumstances where that would be the moral thing to do. If I leak a tasteless, rude joke someone made at a meeting, something that only has the effect of showing the tenor of the assholes running the country into the ground, the worst you can call me is a gossip.
Now that I think of it, I suspect that’s his point. Anything leaked that makes Donnie and his crooked pals look bad is treason to them. At least, that’s the direction we’re heading.
It is not unreasonable to project that were 100% of those eligible to vote to cast ballots the final tally would be similar to what it was with lesser numbers voting. It was close to a draw. And current polling may be flawed, because a great many that support Trump are nevertheless a bit embarassed by his behavior, and by their support for him, leading to less than candid answers to pollster questions.
I may be mistaken, but I say half the nation is nuts. Bigoted. Xenophobic. Misogynistic. Homophobic. Anti-intellectual. Obese, habitual substance abusers.
My administration is full of traitors, but it’s not really the biggest issue. In other news I’ve sold out to China. All that bad shit they were doing is ok because they gave me money…never mind.
