Don’t forget 3) Marginal to the administration and/or campaign. A coffee fetcher, really.
This was Round One.
Except when he was sleeping at the foot of Donnie’s bed
Please stop it!!! I can’t stop laughing…ohhhh my side hurts!!!
He’s president, and there is a First Amendment. Tough luck to fat ass Orange who likes to pat his daughter’s butt in public.
When Trump University was in the news, many commented how no one who paid those outrageous, rip-off fees would ever find employment with a degree from Trump’s scam school. But they were wrong. They found jobs as White House lawyers.
Are they also going to sue every book reviewer of every newspaper and every journalist who quotes the content of Bannon’s book?
And two little tidbits, you so-called “lawyers”, that may have flown over your misshapen heads: any non-disclosure agreement that may have been signed during the campaign or before he was hired to work for Trump after the election is null and void for Bannon’s time as a federal employee in the White House, and discovery motions will be monumentally fun for the rest of us.
Trump’s attorney is named Charles Harder.
Pretty appropriate for a big walking, talking dick, I must say.
Bannon likes the attention so this will probably come in waves. It will be interesting to see if he starts releasing dirt on McConnell and Ryan. He has to know if they did anything illegal during the campaign and he has always hated them and wants to bring that part of the party down. He is starting to look like one of the major players in the French Revolution – burning it all down but ending up in the fire himself.
Trolling the country, both of them. Keep your eyes on what’s actually happening on the ground.
Harder is the lawyer who handled the Hulk Hogan / Gawker suit financed by Peter Thiel. He seems to have a strict policy of only working for douchebags and handling awful cases.
This is exactly what I was trying to articulate yesterday! NOT that this all wasn’t great drama (great in general damnit), but look what flew in under the radar yesterday…NOTE: the NY districts that Don Con does ‘bizz-ness’ out of.
Wasn’t that Sean Hannity ?
Projection is the key word. It’s amazing how Trump lays himself bare with his tweets, opening up the world of his insecurities and failings.
I mean, this phrase from the Bannon put-down statement: “[he] doesn’t represent my base—he’s only in it for himself.”
In this story, that’s the villain’s motivation, right there.
Onward to discovery! Delicious!
I understand Wolff has tapes of many of the quotes appearing in his book. That should make any discovery process interesting.
Right now the necessity of removing the two inches of snow on my short stretch of sidewalk is a greater inconvenience than this threatened-mind-you lawsuit will ever be to Bannon IMHNALO. I can think of three or four reasons a halfway serious judge would kill it in its cradle. But the main one is that the President of the United States could not prove himself to be a credible witness in any court in the land.
That’s good because he has a bit of a rep for mildly overstating things.
It didn’t necessarily fly under the radar because some of us knew about it late yesterday when it was announced. Maddow covered it. Still, I don’t know what anyone is supposed to do about that, or what would be the point of getting upset about it. We already knew he fired 17 US Attys and we already knew he’d replace them with the worst possible people. To me, it’s just not that big of a deal at this point. My eyes are on Mueller and state AGs. Where it concerns criminal prosecution, those are the people who are actually investigating and those are the only people that matter.
“In the letter first reported by ABC News, attorney Charles Harder”
Also known as “Chuck Harder”.
Donnie didn’t you get Stevie to sign a NDA?
Your slipping Tough Guy!
Hows the view from your Belly Button?
