Every Intelligence agency we have believes, without a shadow of a doubt, that Russia interfered with and compromised our democracy and national security. Trump has failed uphold his constitutional obligations.

But a Party that has now sanctioned gerrymandering is certainly not going to care about eliciting support from enemy nations to hold on to power. Their corruption is just plain to see, entirely out in the open, but Iā€™ll never get used to it.

The problem is that they didnā€™t attack anything Trump cares about. From his point of view they ā€œsupportedā€ him, which by his way of thinking, is how things ought to be. Other considerations are simply extraneous. Wrap him in a flag and hand him a bible.

Yes we need new Nazi Hunters. Here, inside our borders, where we are breeding them.

Ummā€¦we were told its none of our business. Guess weā€™re supposed to just accept that or something. Certainly the press doesnā€™t have their hair on fire over that statement, even though it does seem like quite a big deal after all thatā€™s happened with Russianā€™s infiltration and attack on our democracy.

The pundits also seem to think tRump still has the upper hand when it comes to debates because he can name-call and insult his opponents like a small child having a tantrum rather than address any substance. Worst of all, theyā€™ll probably let him get away with that shit all over again, whereas Dems will be held to a different standard.

Now that the debates have happened and the official start of the primary season has begun, Iā€™ve noticed the media isnā€™t talking much about the Mueller report anymore. The legal beagles are fading into the background and the political operatives and pundits are now beginning to take center stage on cable. This will continue to be the case even if the House decides on impeachment. The focus on the primary by the media will dilute the impact of any House inquiry no matter what direction they choose to take. Cable outlets will be more apt to focus on horserace politics, because it provides them eventually with ad money and profits, which helps their bottom line. Sure, theyā€™ll talk about how most Americans are losing interest in the investigation by the House, but theyā€™ll also be devoting less coverage to it, whereby out of mind will become out of sight, and perhaps less important to the public in general. Thatā€™s my prediction. Thatā€™s why Pelosiā€™s prediction (though obscured by trying to keep her caucus together) may become prescient. The only way to get through all this fucked up mess tRump and the GOP have created in the country is to make sure tRump and the Senate GOPers are defeated at the ballot box.

The D party needs to run this picture as a contrast to the Putin/tRump pic at the top of this article.

ā€œI donā€™t know about you, but I wouldnā€™t want to be the target of that Obama stare.ā€

Didnā€™t Obama kill bin Laden? Defending this country from global terrorism? Keeping America a shining beacon of democracy for the world to emulate?

Just in case can we get Drake to start wearing MAGA caps?

While meddling.

In addition, they have little idea of what they are facing. Also, they are not used to Dictators and they (along with their parents and grandparents) have never been invaded.

This is something I donā€™t think gets discussed enough. Older Americans and immigrants from Third World countries get this. Itā€™s a visceral sense of threat thatā€™s no joke when you see it actually executed in front of you. I keep seeing some of folk referring to torches and pitchforks. This country should have been at that point years ago. Weā€™re still not there now.

Hate to disagree, but this country was there, led to Charlottesville.

Unfortunately, itā€™s the wrong side with the tiki-torches thatā€™s been up in arms.

I am desperately hoping that this is what happens on the 17th. (I say desperately because this image of Trumpā€™s behavior reminds me that we may not have much time left to survive as a functioning democracy.)

Iā€™m guessing weā€™ll see that clip in political adds in 2020, combined with maybe a clip Muellerā€™s press conference.

There should be a total repudiation of the current regime. Yes, there are areas that fight back against the retrograde horror of over racism but there should be MUCH more pushback. And yeah, i agree the ones carrying the Tikis are the ones up in arms. Rump continues to give us PTSD on a weekly basis and we just get used to it.

Great post, like that Cleveland team it starts with a few wins so that Trump will start to be perceived as a LOSER and WEAKLING - that will drain some of his support.

Every time he is around Putin, he looks weak.
Every time Congress says no, he looks weak.
Each defeat in court, he looks like a loser.
He looked like a dunce and a weakling when he ordered then called back an attack on Iran.
He looks weak everytime Iran and North Korea call his pathetic bluffs.

I wish yours was a joke: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-48795764

The main thief of his countryā€™s wealth and economy is telling us all to steal, cheat, lie and troll as he does. Because these are the values of today and somehow heā€™s the authority. And heā€™s not Trump.
