Kavanaugh lying to Congress is the least of trump’s worries. How long has the trump administration been in on the con? Yesterday’s NBC news report was that Kavanaugh was trying to get ahead of the Ramirez story. If the White House has been doing the same, all the way back to July or earlier, they’ve got much bigger problems to worry about.

“I don’t think you should lie to Congress, and there have been a lot of people over the last year that have lied to congress and to me that would not be acceptable,” he said.

Your son, son-in-law, Attorney General, Commerce Secretary, Secretary of Homeland Defense, Secretary of the EPA, Secretary of HUD, … Shall we go on?

IOW, all his other lies to Congress were perfectly fine.

The only question now is will it be a school bus, a city bus or a Greyhound that will do the honors.

The norm has become lying everyday and now we move back to the center where lying is no longer acceptable. Maybe only in cases of a Supreme Court Justice. My guess is all other lying will continue.

Curiously that story has not gained wider traction in the media as of now.

Only in the Trump Administration where lying is debated as being okay or not okay. Even Josh Marshall is asking how much lying is acceptable for a Justice.

Trump wrote the book on how to lie. That being said, he doesn’t like liars. It’s OK for him to lie because he justifies the lies in that twisted brain of his. That Kavanaugh would lie about anything demonstrates a propensity towards disloyalty, and if there is anything that Trump dislikes more is that he can’t count on someone’s loyalty.

But he will stand up for people that lie in his best interest.

So,when did Trump know it and when did he actually decide to claim knowing it.

It is always a two step question with the guy.

He must really hate the competition.
