No difference between the parties, said all the hipsters who ever considered themselves wised up to it all. No difference.

Acquiring an education does NOT mean you are an intelligent person. Imagine a Supreme Court with Trumkins like her and Sessions on it! A US Senate with a spine and a conscience can block Trump’s judicial picks and if Democrats take the House we can stop writing checks for Trumps imaginary ‘projects’.

Run for office! This site, https://www.runforoffice.org/, allows you to enter your ZIP code and see what offices are available to you and the filing window for that office. They also have a few video short-courses on running a campaign. In my state you file for office during a 1-week period in May.

Register people to vote. If you need to help people overcome the GOP-led voter-run-around campaign help them do that. This site, https://www.aauw.org/resource/organize-a-voter-registration-drive/, has a how-to on organizing a voter registration drive. Or even sitting outside Wal Mart with a folding chair and a card table. Yes, that’s the American Association of University Women.

And while we’re here organize a League of Women Voters chapter in your community if you don’t already have one. Fair, honest and above board. Democracy functions better with them involved.

Civics, civility and civilization all share the same roots. Get crackin’!

She probably doesn’t agree with the outcome of the Civil War either.

Seems to me she answered it.

Oh, I think we can almost count on it; although, Flake and Collins will be very concerned and troubled. So there is that.

I believe she hasn’t heard of that. You might need to call it “The War of Northern Aggression”.

“…Acquiring an education does NOT mean you are an intelligent person…”

We all know this, but have to be reminded of it now and again. I recently shut down a long, long time friendship when I learned that now former friends, highly educated, are Trump voters.

“We, the white, G-d fearing citizens of Rock Ridge wish to express our extreme displeasure with your Brown v. Board. Please overturn it immediately!”

Meh. I’ll bet the pubbies were inking their rubber stamps before she even walked into the chamber. Honestly, I’ll be damned surprised if she doesn’t just fly right on through.

I’m not counting on it at all - they’ve turned some down.

I can see if someone is very conservative and reluctantly pulled the lever for Trump hoping for the best. But if they still support him and don’t think he’s a walking shitshow, then I would stop being friends with them too.

(I live in the South).

So, she’s an angry extremist, fabulist and a complete liar; she still might be a nice person.

She could write for The Atlantic for a week or so.

She could be Speaker of the House!

This seems to be the new hearings strategy for R judicial nominees. Just refuse to answer questions.

Only if she isn’t confirmed for the bench.

Any person who can’t definitively speak out against segregation… who considers segregation a “touchy issue”… is blatantly unfit to serve on any public payroll, much less serve as a judge! My God!
She’s ok with her husband’s whores and diaper play, but she’s iffy about segregation? This is shameful.

Fascinating article; thanks for posting it. Concerning her response to Sen. Blumenthal’s repeated question, it is one thing to be pro-life, it is quite another to peddle false information about abortion or suggest that abortion is murder.

We have got to get the Senate back.

It saddens me to see so many white American Roman Catholics turning into ersatz fundamentalist protestants. Remember RCs, its Ah-men, not Ay-men!
