Exactly what I was thinking, but not phrased that way.
People don’t become politicians unless they have a layer of plexiglass around their personal feelings; hence Dump’s claim of not being one is spot on.
However, they also don’t let a slight go unnoticed. As much as we’d like someone to walk out and flip him the finger, that person marginalizes him/herself. Easier not to show up at the next event or for the next crucial vote or any one of a hundred ways to give him the metaphorical finger.
(I wish I could find a snap of Hillary drinking a glass of water after Douche Anus spent his “comic” turn at the 1996 White House Correspondents Dinner insulting Bill. Perfect way to avoid applauding him when he finished.)

Yes he is: a pig on 2 legs. I hope Heller stands up to Trump–Heller has been primaried over and over again without a scratch. If he did lose the Senate seat, he could probably win the Governorship.
And knuckling under to a POS like Trump would be completely undignified.

One of Trump’s favorite, shopworn weapons is to bully his targets with public humiliation, often in a roundabout, smiling, passive-aggressive way as we see in the video. His weasel way of phrasing insults gives him plausible denial, if someone accuses him of attacking, should his attacks backfire.
As patriarch of the dysfunctional Trump crime family he does this incessantly, reportedly not only with his own family but also with other White House staff. You’d have to be nuts (like Granny Conway) to choose to work for the orange neurotic.
He’s a crazymaker.

It doesn’t feel like there is much time left. trump has got to go, too much damage done already. I hope Mueller is ready to get the public portion of his program rolling asap. Time is running out.

Its really a dumb move on drumps part, which McConnell is likely pissed about again, it puts Heller in a spot where if he caves it makes him look weak, and if he doesn’t he is being threaten by drump that he will try to unseat him.
