Trump: I will change laws and have journalists be imprisoned legally if I dont agree with them, esp if you are the bleeding type.
“Unless you are a mooslim journalist” Trump continued, “And declare jihad against my hair. Then all bets are off”.
"But no, I would never kill them," Trump assured his rally's attendees. "I think that would be despicable."
left unsaid… unless I thought I could get away with it…
Back atcha, Trumpie. If you were murdered I would feel a mild and vague dismay, a sense that such things aren’t quite right. Better to murder you with uncast votes and the contempt of decent people around the world, you low-minded flapping-gummed slob.
This Megyn Kelly obsession has gotten out of hand for him.
Dismay? People die every day, people we don’t know, and we essentially feel nothing about their deaths. Myrtle Hollinger’s death at age 69, in Fresno, CA, caused me no dismay. We’d hear of Trump’s death because of his fame.
The absence of some people from humanity’s daily struggle is a net positive for the species. Certainly if Syed Farook had been hit by a bus 6 months ago we’d all be better off. Would Trump’s demise cause me dismay? Not in the least.
Has he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior? Has he updated his will? Does he have a strong succession plan in place at the family business? Has he reached out to his friends and loved ones to tell them how he feels about them? He is a transitional figure, but is he ready for his own?
“I hate some of these people. I hate 'em,” Trump said. “I would never kill them. I would never do that.”
…But there are some of them in a group back there if anyone wants to set them on fire.
Trump is jealous of Putin.
He wouldn’t kill them personally – but he will eagerly incite. And if one of his crackpots did commit murder, he would excuse it as patriotism.
Who the hell feels the need to make it clear they’re against the commission of murder? I guess we should demand to know his opinion of bank robbery, drunk driving and hijacking an airliner. Is he against any, or all, of those? Just wondering.
I suppose we’ll have to wait and see if one of his deranged followers takes it upon his sorry white ass to go out and kill a reporter. If it’s going to happen, it’ll happen soon.
The Rude Pundit’s take on Obama/Trump Dec 21, 2015! Truer words were never spoken!
I guess Rump doesn’t understand that the media in general tolerates him because he’s great at pulling in eyeballs to hear his latest verbal diarrhea and for watching other scum that gravitates to him. But once he loses, and he will, I doubt Rump is going to get much publicity. He’s a useful idiot to the MSM; like a horrible, multiple car wreck that’s shown repeatedly over the weekend. Once the grossness has run it’s course, why bother with him after that?
In the same speech he referred to the crowd as angry maniacs, questioning the judgement of some protesters for going there with “9000 maniacs who want to kill them”.
But here is the deal: its one thing to demonize Mexicans and Muslims…its a whole other ball game when you start making the press the target. For a man whose entire campaign is built upon the press covering him for free, this is an incredibly unwise statement to make.
Because when you go there, and a few reporters get beat up or killed, there no longer is a right wing press or a left wing press…this is only a press united in outrage.
He loses that fight, in a very big way.
You get the clear thinking award today.
What Trump has been feeding his mob is the idea that it’s OK to kill the right people. Reporters are not quite ready for summary execution because most of them promote his hate speech without question. So reporters go on the post election list. In the mean time there are plenty of Latinos, Blacks, women, Democrats, Jews, Muslims, immigrants, and GLBT’s to attack in the name of The Great Trump. A beating here, a shooting there, open hatred, and maybe a few pipe bombs laying around have become normalized in this election cycle.
So surely this is the tipping point. When he says how much he “hates” such “lying, disgusting people” but that “I would never kill them” (wink, wink), that’s the moment when the press turns against him, isn’t it? He can show bigotry to other groups that lack the voice to push back, but he can’t possibly make veiled threats against the press with immunity, can he?
“Well, I certainly wouldn’t kill them. I have many friends who would though!”
I found this description of generic outrage gratifying:
In my experience, when people who rely on Fox News scream about how much they hate lying, they are never referring to Fox news. It’s just another way of saying they hate things that don’t confirm their world view, or counter their assumptions.
