Having a birther introduce DT before DT’s forced acknowledgement of Obama’s US birth was a way of signaling to the faithful that he really, really didn’t mean it and he’s still with them. DT acted like he was a POW reading a statement from his captors while trying to blink out a message in morse code. (Not that Drumpf could ever have stood up to being a POW.)
