This dunderhead is starting to look and sound a wee bit too schizoid for me. I think he forms his opinions based on the last show he watches on cable news in the evening before heading to beddy-bye. Its not the written press he really concerns himself with, since the man doesn’t read a fucking thing…and gets all that secondhand information anyway from what pundits say in reaction to those articles. Its the summary of the written press by cable news reporters and the like that The Orange One focuses on, that highlight his behavior as erratic or inconsistent or even dangerous to the country…those cable newsies are the ones he’s really pissed off at. They’re able to criticize him and make a mockery of his behavior in ways he is uniquely able to understand because a bully is always hyper-vigilant about how he’s going to be treated…I bet he then wakes up in the middle of the night (if he ever goes to sleep) just steaming and planning out his next revenge in pure Nixonian fashion (one tweet at a time at this point). He’s so over-wrought by criticism because he’s so fucking thin-skinned. Poor little Donnie lashes out at the press for lack of anything better to do in addressing the actual subject matter that’s brought up, especially on these Russian hack-attacks.
What ever happened to him telling us he was going to reveal how he knows more about all this than the Intel community, like he promised? This is just like the Obama birth certificate dodge he had going for years with the press…and they ate that shit up… So, straight to his twitter account by morning to put out his ridiculous clown-like 140 characters to broadcast his newest childish disdain and over-blown resentment. The man is the gluteus maximus of idiots just ripe for the kicking. Meanwhile, he takes a facile approach to most every real serious subject matter. Nothing is ever really thought out ahead of time…Just more demonstrations of poor impulse control…and utter lack of any understanding of how his words have consequences beyond his own puffed up but incredibly fragile ego.
I read 2 articles this morning I thought were pretty important in the grand scheme of things… 1) Turkey is starting to reconsider their relation to NATO and, 2) The Russians are ready and willing to sell the Philippines arms including aircraft and submarines in a effort to form a new alliance that no longer relies on important US considerations. That’s big imo.
This is the world we have to look forward to. Its a pre-WW2 mindset that could very well lead to setting the stage for Trump’s WW3 or some other new preemptive type war just so Trump can play the tough guy. That’s why NeoCons are welcome in a Trump administration even though he’s come out against them in the past. In the end, he will be responsible for destroying strategic alliances we have worked with for well over half a century. That’s what I worry about.
On top of that, I can already see Trump being handed 1000’s of pages of a budget or some other bill passed by both houses of Congress, and just sign the damn thing without reading a single word of it, while the GOP slips in all kinds of messy bullshit that will make life hard for so many people, enable further corruption everywhere, or as a means to ideologically further destroy government. It will make all of us drop our jaws when we find out what’s in those bills I’m sure. Trump is good-for-less-than-nothing…He’ll just be in place as President, forced to sign whatever Congress wants for the time being, or he’s on his way to being threatened with impeachment by those very same politicians if he doesn’t tow their line. I don’t think there will be much in-between. Playing footsies with each other isn’t going to last very long.
