You might be over-reasoning that. I doubt anyone will care about his demeanor or tenor if he used words like nigger or spick or kike. The word and his voice are all that folks will need. But I think most of his supporters won’t give a damn and might actually approve.

I was of the mind that you do not need to hear a racist make racist slurs to know he is a racist, but your argument has won me over. When in Stupidville, you need to make all things glaringly obvious - so let’s hear those tapes.

It’ll be fun to watch the usual suspects fall in line, though. Fox and Friends, Hannity, Coulter, etc., will trot out every rap song they can find with the “N” word as evidence that it’s totally not-racist.

No doubt! I can hear it now, “Why is it OK for the rappers to use that word, but the president can’t? Why the double standard? Isn’t it just as wrong for NWA to call themselves N-words with Attitudes? If white people can’t say it then black people shouldn’t be able to say it either.” Then they’ll play a montage of rappers using the word.
