No, not really. Negation is the amount that summed together gives the result zero, i.e., negation of 2 is -2 . I am saying that they may reduce taxes resulting in a disposable income gain of 2% but health care costs rise by more than the saving of 2%, say, 4% of disposable income, resulting in a net loss to disposable income which is more than the savings of the tax cut.
Incoherent and information-free babble from His Illegitimacy that gives word salad a bad name. Iām going to walk my dogs before I go into a fugue state.
Someone please askā what āawards on the environmentā. I just wonder what goes on in the minds of mostly intelligent people at the meeting when they are forced to listen to this ignoramus.
a tax on American companies that build products abroad and then sell them in the U.S.
A tariff. Itās called a tariff, for f*ckās sake.
Well to be fair lizzy, all of our money is created from thin air. Thatās why itās called fiat currency
I totally agree, totally bland!
I guess we know what TOM is going to be discussing with Little Paulie this afternoon.
No. Rump is gonna call it a āborder taxā and that will make it totally different. Because reasons.
Perhaps some day someone will ask these guys why they need to offer tax cuts. If they can fix the economy so that it works for all they donāt need to do tax cuts. Most folks would gladly pay more taxes if the could make more money. But nothing Trump offers will get them that better paycheck. So he gives away the money at his disposalā¦the federal stash.
Thereās a reality in this.
I honestly have no idea what heās talking about anymore. I canāt follow any of it, not one word.
President Donald Trump said that he plans on cutting taxes for the middle class and companies.
Is going to get Mexico to pay for this too?
It is going to be interesting to see how the hard core conservative Tea Partiers in the House react to massive tax cuts. They have always insisted that all spending and tax cuts be paid for with budget cuts. And part of what mobilized them was that they were livid with the Bush admin for reckless spending and tax cuts not paid for, or at least so they claimed.
Of course they can simply capitulate to a Republican POTUS but then that would make them no different than the Republicans they railed against, primaried and to a great extent replaced
Even before we talk about Trumpās infrastructure spending plans (and of course āThe Wallā), tax cuts, cuts on ACA funding, etc if enacted already total Trillions, with a āTā, of dollars. I just donāt see the Tea Party crowd bending over and taking it.
I guess weāre about to find out.
All currency is fiat currency including gold. Adam Smith said the only thing with inherent value is human labor. He was way ahead of Marx on that.
Fancy word. The Orange Horror doesnāt believe in 'em. Neither do his groupies.
The only thing heāll cut is their throats.
The border tax is the most interesting part. Ryan and his ilk REALLY, REALLY want it, but for someone with as many foreign assets and debts denominated in dollars as Trump it would be a nightmare. I expect heāll find some way to veto any measure that includes it, especially since doing so would make Bannonās day.
No retailers in the group?
Wonder what Target or Wal-Mart management think of DJTās talk?
Tariff on imported goods, prices go up, sales go down.
But at least upper management gets a tax cut.
Good luck with all of that. The regulation stuff is a joke. What awards did you get and there should be a nature and environmental component considered before anything is built. It is not saying that companies cannot but that they take into account humans in the area, plants and animals seems like a default that should not be controversial.
Also, I would like to see how much the tax cuts would cost and no way Trump taxes his buddies or himself like that. Plus, I doubt that it would cover the tax loss. Income tax brings in most of the income. This would be another form of corporate tax and I am sure they would do something to get around it.
I actually am not opposed to decreasing corporate taxes, to a lower level but not insane low, but remove exemptions and make them pay it.
Blah, blah, blah. More mush from the wimp.
Oh, and of course, the first thing he did was increase costs for first-time homeowners.
Iām not paying for that damn wall!
