Discussion: Trump: I May Have 'Misspoke' On Abortion But Question Was Convoluted

translation…

when I’m asked questions with words containing three syllables or more I get confused… even if it’s a policy issue I should’ve already given thoughtful consideration to…

Which iteration of “Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them” are we on now? I can’t keep track.

Politics is convoluted, Donald.
Life is convoluted, Donald.

“I am very sorry for stating the anti-abortion views that every Republican politician believes in and that every pro-life organization tries to inflict on this country. Now, can you motherfuckers in the press shut up and just report on that whore wife of Ted Cruz?”

Funny, about 99% of Donald Trump’s base can’t even spell “convoluted”, let alone define it. They probably think it’s some sort of obscene sexual term. “He performed convolution on his girlfriend, even though it is against the law in the state of Mississippi.”

It’s a good thing he won’t have to deal with long, convoluted subjects as POTUS. I still cannot believe anyone thinks this man should be president.

Please. No matter how long and convoluted a question about, say, puppies might be, you can’t answer “I like to cook and eat puppies” and then three hours later say “I like to gently pet puppies and then care for them responsibly.” That’s just not a thing that happens because you didn’t understand the question. It happens because you’re ignorant, lazy, not that bright, and out of your depth anywhere but the shallow end of a kiddie pool.

LOL. Hey, wait a minute! … Didn’t the SCOTUS nullify all those laws against convolution? … Or was that just for teh gays?

All together now: “The President gets a lot of complicated questions.”

He’s right, the question was convoluted. According to the NYTimes:

“You go back to a position like they had where they would perhaps go to illegal places,” Mr. Trump said, after initially deflecting questions. “But you have to ban it.”

He added, after a bit more prodding, “There has to be some form of punishment.”

According to Time Magazine,

Matthews asked if the man who got the woman pregnant would be legally responsible: “I would say no,” Trump responded.

Let’s be fair, this is very difficult stuff when you’ve recently changed your position from pro-choice to pro-life and you haven’t kept up with the hypocrisy the Repubs bring to the table on this issue.

Trump: It would appear that I am running for POTUS in the wrong country. I will need to consult Mullah Huckabee for guidance before my future media interactions.

Questions! Questions! Stop with the confusing questions!

This is the most confusing political controversy I can remember.

If you think that abortion should be illegal, then it’s only logical to think that those that “commit” abortion should be punished for the crime.

To say that you think abortion should be illegal – and equate it with the crime of murder – and then claim that one of the people responsible for committing the crime shouldn’t be punished is not only illogical and nonsensical, but raises far more interesting questions.

How can someone think something is a crime on par with murder, but then doesn’t think direct accomplices should be punished for it?

And I feel like the media is being particularly lazy on this one. Instead of hounding Trump for stating one of the only logical things he’s said in this campaign, the story here is the anti-abortion groups trying to pretend they don’t want to punish women for committing what they see as a capital crime. In what reality does that make a lick of sense?

Supposedly, but Justice Scalia believes that if even the thought of convolution offends your little religious fee-fees, then you have a right to ban it.

That’s what really pisses me off, those goddamned anti-abortion whackos acting like what Trump said is not what they have always believed, and have always tried to get enacted into law across the country.
I hope this turns into a Todd Akin for the national republican Party during the election.

So, women of America, vote Republican.

You’ll still have the right to obtain an abortion, except no one will be allowed to service you.

The anti crowd has been trying to paint themselves as less judgmental, less fire and brimstone all over your ass for a while.

They now only love and care for the woman and the fetus. She might become infertile! (myth) Get cancer! (myth) Fetal pain, guilt, eugenics, what happens after, etc.

It’s very well orchestrated concern trolling by them.
