And so it begins. The after-fight makeup sex. Hopefully it won’t be televised.
Sorry if I ruined your breakfast.
Sweet. Take 'em down in flames along with you, @realDonaldTrump !
“Likewise, I don’t need votes from people to whom I’ve been nasty.”
Works for me.
There is a term called “ritualism”, which means, roughly, going thru the motions.
Like Reince, with Trump. Party “victory” (never mind what that means).
Unfortunately for the Donald those people he doesn’t want endorsements from are the people with the money you will need to run in the general. This guy is a loose cannon for sure. Keep talking

There are three stages of marriage sex…house sex, bedroom sex and hall sex.
House sex is when you first get married and go at it like rabbits in every room in the house.
Eventually, that wears off and turns into bedroom sex, where you have sex less often, only in the bedroom, and in a much more mundane fashion.
That is followed by hall sex…when you pass each other in the hallway and go, “Fuck you” “Yeah, Fuck you too”
Trump is jumping right to the hall sex phase.
“I’ve had calls – I’ll have to tell you about them, calls really wanting to get on immediately,” he told the MSNBC hosts, who have fielded frequent criticism for appearing too cozy with Trump.
I'm sure Trump will be provided ample opportunity to fill in the Morning Joe Show with all the details. He's penciled in for 15+ uninterrupted minutes to spew unchallenged claims, every day, until the election. The National Enquirer will go front page with a story saying Hillary is putting small pox viruses in blankets destined for Christian run orphanages and Trump will regale Joe with how horrible she is. You know, because it's something he read, in a major publication. Who knows it it's true, he's just passing it along....................just sayin', think what you will.
…
that’ll cost me any more than a hundred grand…"
He doesn’t want them even though they’ll day their nastiness was just talk, but he’ll drop everything he said during the primaries in a New York minute if it helps him.
What a beginning to the “unify” phase of his campaign.
It should have occurred to me before, but I wonder if Mr Trump has ever looked at a dictionary, let alone owned one.
His notion of what “unity” means appears a bit off base.
And so it begins. Many establishment republicans, including not just current elected club members, but all the hangers on and parasites in the media elite and the entire consultant class, went after Trump because he threatened to break their rice bowls. They didn’t give a tinkers damn about the hate, bigotry and divisiveness he gave voice to, and made somehow socially acceptable, nor to the fact that these antediluvian attitudes, while common enough, are antithetical to the ideals of America.
They fear this terrifying reality: he has gotten this far not only absent their support, but despite their opposition. The prospect of a Trump presidency terrifies them not so much because he will morally and fiscally bankrupt the country. His massive tax cuts for the wealthy will bankrupt the country, unless he eliminates the ACA. His pablum about replacing it with something great is eyewash. His Congress will replace it with nothing, which is what they wanted in the first place.
That won’t be enough. He’ll have to gut, most likely by turning it into an inadequate, block granted to the states so they can use it for ANY purpose, Medicare voucher system. I suppose the idea is that young beneficiaries are non taxpaying handicapped scum, and he’s better off with them dead, and old people are on their own.
Social Security will be turned into some kind of under regulated IRA system, and if the market fails, too bad for you. He will simultaneously further enriching his true club members, the selfish billionaire class that absolutely believes that because it is asked to pay taxes – – and not anywhere close to their fair share – – they are an oppressed minority.
So far, the “true conservatives” will be with him. However, for the hangers-on class, it will be a lot worse than no more glittering White House dinners. Donald is a vile, vengeful, litigious man who will use the levers of government to ruin them, one at a time. If they behave true to form, they’ll be too busy kissing up to realize they are next. This was his successful modus operandi with the other 16 mental drwarf presidential wannabes.
Given the opportunity, he will personally bankrupt all of them.
It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends upon his not understanding it!

Conventional wisdom is that we’ll see the kindler, gentler Trump who mends burned bridges in the GOP and tacks towards the moderate center in the General to build coalition. I think that’s about as likely as a lion going vegan. Completely goes against his innate nature. He’ll try to go through the motions that his advisors steer him towards, but ultimate Trump will be Trumpin. And when he gets needled, he’ll lash out … particulary if a strong woman opponent presses his misognyist buttons.
Not one of them rebuked Dump when he started his birther bullshit. And this is the result.
“Some of it, I don’t want.”
Women, hispanics, blacks, immigrants and young people seem to at the top of the list.
Not many of those left in the post-Obama neo-Republican Party that Trump appeals to and now, quite literally, personifies.
He’s essentially surfing a wave of false victimhood generated by three decades of right wing radio and FOX News.
Trump’s people are mad at something they can’t identify without exposing profound ignorance and prejudice, but they CAN express it by posing as Trump supporters.
Trump is no longer a candidate in the traditional sense of the word, he’s just a big middle finger flipped off by all those over-privileged “victims” because they have no other way to express how much contempt they have for any sort of democracy that would allow all those “outsiders” access to The American Dream that apparently failed them so miserably.
But, then, who knew?
That Shining City on the hill was really just a gilded plastic casino.
Which ideals are you talking about? The ones enshrined by the Founding Fathers in the Constitution? The ones that permitted ownership of slaves at the nation’s formation? The same ones that denied woman the right to vote? Or the ideals that encouraged genocide and obscene treaties in order to rob Native Americans of their land and possessions? Maybe the ideals that permitted the wholesale destruction of Dresden, Hiroshima and Nagasaki, killing hundred of thousands of non-combatants in non-militarily strategic cities, vaporizing women and children in their beds as they slept? Or the ideals that let doctors infect blacks with venereal diseases and track their progression to insanity and death? Maybe the ideals that encouraged the segreagation of blacks and whites, consigning blacks to sustandard schools, and denying them entrance to colleges and trade schools later? Or possibly you’re talking about the ideals that sees politicians poisoning the water supplies of entire cities, to no apparent detriment to themselves?
Tell me, what are the ideals of America? Precisely?
Keep excluding, Trump.
I promise it won’t hurt you in the election. You will still get a majority…of the people who like you.
Last year in an interview reported in The Guardian, British newspaper, Trump said he is so famous he will not have to spend a lot of money to run for president. His intent was to use the media. He has followed through on the strategy. The media are his PR agency, and it finances his campaign. When Trump says he does not want the endorsement of people who have not been “nice” to him, he is intent on freeloading his way through the general election. The media have decided it wants Trump to win the presidency.
Caesar has spoken. “Get them out of here. Throw them to the IRS.”
