Asking an innocent, relevant question you know is going to cause him to embarrass himself by either (a) failing to have the correct answer or (b) giving a programmed answer that can be shredded like Enron records as part of the story…that would be far more effective. “I yelled at the POTUS during a gaggle” just hands them what they’re looking for.

Yeah, and where’s the messaging about it? Whre are the Dems pushing their way to the mics and cameras to lambaste Trump’s abusive, fascist treatment of these people and their children, decry his ridiculous claims that it’s their fault and make sure people understand that they’re proposing legislation not because it’s their fault and they know they have to fix it, but to stop this gibbering white nationalist racist wannabe despot from ruining any more lives. This is the first I’ve even heard about that bill, and the whole thing stinks. The silence makes them look like they’re doing just as Donny Dunning-Kruger is demanding: quietly fixing their shame.

I saw the live stream of him giving this interview and he appeared seriously deranged! Especially when he stated he was planning to speak with Kim and some other people in North Korea!

Trust me, I see what everyone else sees and often enough I’m thunderstruck at the failure to paint things as they really are. But name me one institution that responded adequately to this emergency from the beginning, or adapted quickly enough to be up to speed now. And I think this whole denunciation thing took hold at a stage when nobody in the commentariat expected Trump to win, the media regarded him as a fascinating oddity, and all of a sudden the bastard started winning primaries. I grant you the media contributed to that, but the SOB had name recognition already, OK? If we’re going to denounce everyone responsible in a fair and balanced way, let’s mention that even from the beginning it was the fucking ignorant voters in the base who started giving him pluralities. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
