Discussion: Trump Has Been Giving World Leaders His Cellphone Number, Breaking Protocol

He is becoming more dangerous. The GOP is unwilling to control him. His aids are sounding more like promoting a Dictator. A Constitutional crisis is beginning.

“As democracy is perfected, the office represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. We move toward a lofty ideal. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their hearts desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.”

Did he also hand them his business card and a 50% off coupon for one of his hotels?

That is the action of someone who WANTS to be surveilled. He’s trying to be overheard.

The fact that the GOP is completely okie dokie with his madness is what has the international community of our former allies backing away from the USA. Our passive-aggressive Congress is what will really cause our trade agreements and diplomatic relationships to rot. It never fails to amaze me that conservatives crash the economy as their first order of business.

Is that like, if you have a party and nobody comes?
Donald gives out his cell # and nobody calls.

Again with the backchannel stuff . Backchannel was when we worked through the Swiss to maintain necessary contacts with the Iranians and Cuba. This was direct contact with an inimical foreign power using their technology to bypass the US State Department and evade US intelligence and official record keeping. Stop adopting his terminology!

Did you see the comments from the guy who thought DPRK was really the NK gov site? Either that, or he was doing the best trolling since Putin.

Hey, I was around when Nixon–so says the Smithsonian–committed treason wrt the Vietnam negotiations, and this is the funniest betrayal of the country to a hostile power I’ve ever seen.

How long before Trump either makes a joke about dementia, or denies it, touting his intellectual superiority. Maybe something like "I did the Saturday NYTimes Crossword in record time last week! ‘Fanntastic!’ "
