On Venezuela, Trumpās main gripe seems to be that Bolton has made Moi, Donald John Trump, look bad, by underestimating the strength and staying power of Nicolas Maduro, the failed rock musician and successor to the throne of Cesar Chavez.
It is also interesting to note, and not considered in the article, that one Vladimir Putin favors the Maduro regime remaining in power.

Trump didnāt realize that his golf club members who wanted to overthrow Maduro were working against his obligations to Putin, now heās in a bad situation.
Either lose a few golf memberships, or piss off Putin.

Au Contraire. There is probably no better place in the world in which Vladdy could best emasculate the US than to help setup the conditions for the US to attack Iran. And trump has already shown plenty of signs, that he wants very badly to do just that.
