I dunno. l’d be happy with this ginger President.
Meanwhile, the Keebler elf just announced a new policy that would allow for discrimination of LGBT people:
Well then buy him some SP3,500 sunscreen so he has a chance to get there!
I’m sure Trump was similarly outraged when the Senate Republicans blocked 400 House-passed bills under President Obama.
O they passed a law yesterday outlawing abortion after 20 weeks too
Women and LGBTQ people are the easiest targets for them and they are going for it.
Just wait until he discovers the Constitution and all the limits it imposes on what he can do.
Shorter Drumpf: I got checkmated by The Black Guy.
Our MAGA economy will be based on unwanted pregnancies, foreclosures, pollution, and war.
O baby, we’re half way to Romania now.
For Whom the Bell Tolls: It Tolls for the Dumbbell DT.
He’s like a little child proudly showing off his toilet training.
He repeatedly takes thanks that virtually everyone already knows and tries to pass it off as something he just came up with or “not many people know” – remember “prime the pump - I just came up with that you know”?
They couldn’t get 50 votes. The failure to repeal and replace Obamacare has nothing to do with the filibuster, you bleeping idiot.
I guess it’s rhetorical to ask if he realizes that it’s possible that the Rs won’t be in control of the senate at some point in the future?
So, IF the Ds were to take back the Senate in 2018 (I know I know, just play along) is he going to sign an executive order reinstating the filibuster?
—sigh
Yeah I don’t think an EO would have any authority over Congress and its rules.
I do as well, it’s just that (hopefully) when the Dems get in the majority, they tend to get all mushy about comity and letting the GOP get away with things like holding a Supreme Court nominee hostage. If elections are supposed to have consequences, I’d like to see some elbows thrown.
The Rump might as well rage against used car dealers to get rid of the Kelly Blue Book.
The filibuster makes it far too easy for Senators to profess beliefs that would be disastrous if implemented. The other side is obstructionist.
The filibuster makes it far too easy for Senators to stymie something without personally admitting opposition. It doesn’t have the votes.
I want to say John Kelly and his other nannies won’t allow Donnie to play with matches but given their blatant inability to so much as potty train him over these past eight months I’m not as confident as I used to be.
I hear what you’re saying but I don’t know what they could do about McConnell holding that seat open. How could they force McConnell to hold a hearing on Obama’s appointee if he just refuses to do it and that’s what he did.
If they look soft because they seek comity then the whole thing is broken because what they try to do is run the country from a bipartisan basis as much as possible since that was the original idea. Just because the GOP has broken things, I am not sure what they are supposed to do to fix it besides follow the rules and the law.
