Discussion: Trump: Facebook, Cable News, Newspapers Were ‘Always Anti-Trump’

Yup, we all know that the NYT would never collude with and pay Clinton Cash author, Peter Shweizer, to udermine the Clinton Foundation and by extention, her campaign. Oh,…wait.

“…But the people were Pro-Trump! Virtually no President has accomplished what we have accomplished in the first 9 months-and economy roaring

If only he was just a virtual president instead of the real, but hopefully temporary, one.

Dark clouds surrounding her campaign, scandals that won’t go away (because we won’t let them).

That’s THE BIGGEST victim in the history of victimhood. Get it straight.

He’d better stock up on Depends. There’s a lot of uncertainty and anxiety in DT’s future…

Orange egomaniac doesn’t need praise from anywhere else, he’s happy to do it himself.

“We are doing a great job,” he declared on Tuesday in the Rose Garden. “We did a great job in Texas, a great job in Florida, a great job in Louisiana. We hit little pieces of Georgia and Alabama. And frankly,” he added, “we’re doing — ”

“The entire federal work force is doing great work in Puerto Rico. And I appreciated his saying it. And he’s saying it to anybody that will listen.”

“We have had tremendous reviews from government officials, as we have in Texas and Louisiana, and as we have in Florida,” Mr. Trump said, singling out Greg Abbott of Texas and Rick Scott of Florida as “great governors.”

@ralph_vonholst It came down to James Comey talking about her emails 11 days before the elections that sank her chance of winning.

Can we get him to look in a mirror and repeat “Candyman” 3 times?

It sure feels like a horror movie about now, doesn’t it?

Yes and no. There were a lot of good things that Schultz had going for him, and the fact that the SPD has decided not to be part of a “Grand Coalition” (“GroKo”) as they have been in the past (the ruling coalition has to have at least 50%) but rather to remain as opposition, which means that they are going to try to move a bit more left (sort of like Bernie and the Single Payer starting to move the Dems left). If they had stayed in the Grand Coalition, they’d’ve had to compromise on a platform to the right of where they are.

The worry now is that Merkel will have to build a coalition which includes the FDP, who are sort of Randian free market types (“all regulation is bad”), which will put a damper on economic reform for Europe. In fact, it may push the CDU/CSU more to the right. And the AfD (radical right) got seats in Parliament (Bundestag) which is not good. There’s a lot of stuff going on here. The negotiations for a coalition are still going on, and nobody is sure what kind of combined platform will arise.

However, one thing is clear: Merkel is considerably weakened. (My husband wanted Schultz to do better – but then, we’re lefties! )

Josh did a fairly good analysis a couple of days ago.

The Guardian has had some good stuff on it too.

…everyone’s against me, except when they’re not, but that data set goes in a separate pile for when I’m talking to crowds of carefully selected minions supporters…

“You look at that speech in Alabama, to an all white crowd right? We need to get real about this in this country. The President of the United States goes down there and he talks about “Us” and he talks about “Those People”. He came about as close as you can possibly come to shouting at a rally the N word. That’s what he did down there. I know it, you know it, we all know it, and for the Republican party and its leaders, and for every decent American, we’re coming up on the line where enough’s enough with this. What he’s doing to the country is tragic.”

What a 4-star, gold plated, double-barreled asshole. I would welcome the Joint Chiefs stepping in and carrying him bodily out of the White House. He is a threat to America and it’s national security. Even a moron like Pence would be a better alternative.

This is what happens when you extend the vote to the undereducated and under informed.
