Hmm Kansas the rubiest of the ruby red states. Also home to Kochs, that have helped Kansas become the rubiest of the ruby red states. And now Trump and Kochs are fuedin’, please someone please make sure we have enough popcorn.
There are two public pollsters following the Kansas Republican primary. One has Colyer up by two and the other has Kobach up by 7. The Wichita newspaper has them tied at 32% each. The truth is Kobach is tied to Brownback so he is a dead certain loser in the general. Republicans better hope Colyer wins.
Kobach appeals foremost to hardcore racists and gun lunatics. We have a lot of those in Kansas. I don’t think Trump’s endorsement holds any sway with them in that no other candidate in this race can match Kobach’s wretched characteristics. If these deplorables show up to vote they have only one choice.
Sorry Kansas Dems… if history has shown us anything, it’s that Kansas will always elect the worst possible candidate to ensure their needs are ignored, if not outright exploited in order to give the 1% a few more billion.

If there’s a place Kobach may need to cheat it will be sooner than later. Dems are crossing over to the Republican party in Kansas to help them beat Kobach at the primary polls… but he’s in charge of that process, and he’s already got secret records surreptitiously sequestered away from scrutiny.
Tomorrow may test his “resolve”, he seems happy to drive a flag-emblazoned, machine-gun-sporting jeep right through the election process.
He is one of those delusional right wing “patriots” who thinks “cheating for his country” represents that patriotism, they will justify any act they perceive is bent against the mystic, deep-stated, obsessively hated “left.”
They embrace lying for Jesus so cheating for country is a natural progression.
