China: Perhaps its time to start liquidating US debt.
Obama: Please wait when The Idiot takes office.
Economic advisor? Doesn’t seem to be very good at it.
To put its ownership of U.S. debt in perspective, China’s holding of $1.24 trillion is even larger than the amount owned by American households. U.S. citizens hold only about $959 billion in U.S. debt, according to the Federal Reserve.
Just Sayin!
Tough talking Stephen Moore is from a wealthy suburb outside of Chicago, he has ‘NEVER’ served a day in uniform nor been in harm’s way – yet he’s talking tough and being very provocative.
Anybody wants anything from Walmart better hurry on over there before their shelves go bare.
This is when the Trumpies scream come and take it.
I was going to make a similar comment. These wealthy elitists find it so easy to sound tough with their words, but what have they ever done that shows courage or sacrifice for a greater cause? I hope he has sons or relatives ready to enlist if this kind of talk should provoke a military incident.
You know, when the call happened I originally thought that it was the mark of incompetence, and now it looks like it’s a frontal assault by the incoming administration on China, on both economic and possibly military fronts. This is totally playing with fire, and if it continues it will lead to shooting in the South China Sea that the US will get drawn into.
Stephen “Trickle-down” Moore - One of the few remaining supply-siders still roaming the earth after the Reality Comet struck.
I think I’ll open a Geiger Counter store. Maybe sell iodine pills at the checkout counter.
Well, let’s add this to our diplomatic playbook - “If they don’t like it, screw 'em.” What could go wrong?
It would be nice if we could go one fucking day without increasing the likelihood of a global nuclear war.
It’s the Eric Cartman book of Diplomacy: suck my balls, fuck you it’s mine, I’m taking my stuff and going home.
Brave words until they realize China is a lot tougher than they thought after which they’ll go groveling towards them
Hmm - do I go with this guy or these 370 economists (from a November 1st article in that left wing rag the WSJ)?
Prominent Economists, Including Eight Nobel Laureates: ‘Do Not Vote for Donald Trump’
Some 370 economists sign a letter slamming Trump for promoting ‘magical thinking and conspiracy theories’
Lovely but a little too late now.
Prominent (fill in blank) said not to vote for drumph, pretty much every newspaper, every expert etc. and yet, repugs voted for their team on mass like they always do.
Perfect.
