The civil war was fought to end slavery. Jackson was a slaveowner, ergo if he was president the whole civil war might have been avoided simply by keeping slavery,

No it’s not entertaining it’s scaring the shit out of me. That interview with John Dickerson was deeply troubling. My wife and I were just looking at each other in disbelief. Then this statement on Jackson.
This is a person with some serious mental problems.
Even on Mourning Joe they played the clips and recordings and just stared in the camera . What do you say to such irrational behavior?
If he was not President , he would be committed for observation to determine what manner of neurological disorder was causing such aberrations.

I’m really of the belief that the man doesn’t have Alzheimer’s as others have suspected or noted. I think he definitely has cognitive issues, but those were evident before he got into office and still stand. I believe they’re related to issues involved in his personality disorder, in which his mental capacity and abilities are a part of being cognitively impaired. In other words, its a process of his mental illness, not a product of age-related degeneration.
