Discussion: Trump Dives Into Fight Over Pennsylvania Redistricting: Don't Let Dems Win!

I guess reading comprehensive and basic knowledge of the US Constitution be damned.

First off, Mr. Trump, Pennsylvania is a Commonwealth, not a state.

Second, this is a state’s rights issue. Keep your dumb comments out of this issue (good luck).

I wouldn’t (forgive and forget. Never in a million years.

State’s right is now a Democrat plot.

Thank you for the encouragement to be more succinct. I know it’s a weakness.

There a very good reason why the bulk of most of our US Presidents have been lawyers. They get the basic concept of abiding by the rule of law as the way the country maintains a vibrant democracy. tRump has no allegiance to the rule of law or the judiciary. If anything, he was an active opponent to the very idea of following the law even before he was (s)elected for office so this comes as no surprise that once again, he inserts foot and mucks the whole thing up for the GOP trying to bamboozle the courts in PA, that they still have a case to be made. They don’t. Goofy chasing Donald Duck is not a viable voting district.

Had it been Goofy kicking Donald Drumpf’s ass I might’ve been alright with keeping it the way it was.

What happen to all the Republicans pushing for state rights, I guess that’s only if it favors them, otherwise take to the feds. Nothing but a bunch of lying cheating hypocrites.

What I like about Trump is that he never pretends to be a decent human being who cares about the democratic system or the good of the nation.

Is the Supreme Court on his team?

It’s only a matter of time before he calls John Roberts in to ask.

My husband and I keep wondering if donnie has any idea how much he is hated and ridiculed. Apparently the RNC put out a tweet yesterday asking people to “sign” a card wishing 45 a happy prez day and the response was the opposite of what they were hoping for. Some funny stuff about how to say it in Russian, etc., but mostly a lot of disdain, as you would expect. He must see that stuff, right?

Oooh, I hope he does! Nothing would be more certain to set Roberts against Trump and his co-conspirators. (If that hasn’t happened already.)

I’m jo-king. Your phrasing gave me a chance to make a funny and express regret at my prolixity. I don’t want tl;dr to be my epitaph.

What a surprise!

He should have stuck to real estate.

After he’s done, thrown out, resigns, or is behind bars I’ll be happy if he struggles to get a low level job at Century 21 or Re/Max. I hope his “brand” turns to shit worldwide and becomes the thing that should not be spoken about ever again except as a punchline.

“Don’t Let Dems Win!”

I thought it is all about allowing the citizens of PA to win by helping to ensure fair voting? Guess I am naive in my belief that the American people should always come first rather than party?

He is terrified of a Democratic House because then the actual investigations will begin.

Wait a minute. You mean that age-old GOP mantra of having a businessman run the government is a problem? Say it ain’t so!

If he is terrified by Democrats, he is probably shittting in his Depends at the prospect of a bluish dark pink tsunami coming his way in November.
