No waY Emp’rer Trump wood doo that LiBturd!?!?!!$ Beeside hiz tiney handz done have ennuf gr1p strenth to grabb anYThing but pussy!$@%^!&%@$
Now if Melania had been there, she would have flown right in and flashed, I mean kicked, ass…
He was projecting?
Let me know when he isn’t projecting.
Just quoting our wonderful President…
Trump says the armed officer who didn’t stop the gunman who carried out last week’s Florida massacre was either a “coward” or “didn’t react properly under pressure.”
Says Cadet Bonespurs, that got five deferments to Vietnam…
It’s very easy to be brave with someone else’s ass…
Yet he is convinced that a 3rd-grade math teacher would do much much better.
Let’s remember that Cadet Bone Spurs was afraid to carry a rifle, too, when his nation called in the 1960s.
There is obviously way more to this story than we are hearing here, but Trump in his usual lamebrain fashion jumps onto the quick conclusion that reinforces his prejudices.
I can’t help but picture Donald Trump in the same spot with a gun in his pocket. Would he have plunged in to save the day? Has he ever in his life put his wondersome ass in any jeopardy whatsoever in order to help a fellow human being.
Fact is, at most of these massacres there were “Good Guys with Guns” and in every case they failed to stop the assailant. This one seems to be an outlier, since it appears the armed and trained officer was a coward.
“I certainly do a poor job, there’s no question about that.”
WASHINGTON, D.C. – President Donald Trump’s job approval rating averaged 38.4% during his first year in office – slightly more than 10 percentage points lower than any other elected president’s first-year average. Bill Clinton is the only other president who was below 50% in his first year. All others were 57% or higher, with six of the 10 presidents elected since World War II averaging 60% or better in their first year.
In words even ignoramus would understand, 45 is 44 on a list of 44 presidents and how they performed over the centuries.
“When it came time to get in there (Vietnam) and do something” the POTUS Trump “didn’t have the courage or something happened.”
Coward…
So much for the “good guy with a gun” theory.
Not as poor a job as the 2016 Electoral College.
Who’s going to have to explain to him why he’s #45 on a list of 44 presidents? I shudder to think…
Unlike the President, who is an expert on every topic, I am no expert on this one. The Sheriff, who presumably is an expert, believes this officer was derelict in his duty and lied about his actions.
But this totally demolishes the “armed teacher” load of crap. The truth is in these situations, the shooter, who has chosen the time and place of his attack and has made some kind of plan, has a HUGE advantage over any responder who needs time to assess and devise a plan. That’s why SWAT is a team, because only concentrated manpower can overcome the perp’s tactical advantage.
It’s remarkable that this is supposed to be a professional news organization. For example: "Trump was departing the White House for the Conservative Political Action Conference when he said: ‘When it came time to get in there and do something’ Florida deputy Scot Peterson ‘didn’t have the courage or something happened.’
Trump added, ‘he certainly did a poor job, there’s no question about that.’”
The first quote uses a colon and a capital letter for the beginning of the quote, the second a comma and a lower-case letter. You might think they would have standardized how to do quotes by this point. (I’m assuming TPM took this article directly from the AP and didn’t rewrite it themselves.)
That part at least does follow the fairly common guideline for quotes that full sentences start with a capital, but non-sentence fragments don’t. Certainly when I was using the AP guide that was how it worked.
But I was referring to this sentence, which is not a fragment: Trump added, ‘he certainly did a poor job, there’s no question about that.’
