Come on who are you going to believe here? After all we all know that Trump is the kind of guy who when he’s paying large sums of money to pornographers to hide his sexual proclivities would always conduct such dealings above board.

I love how the convoluted way he talks about the situation reflects his lame attempt to minimize what Trump did. No Trump didn’t have “an” affair and then lie about it “with” a porn star and Playboy bunny. He had TWO affairs with those women and lied about them TO all the American people. (There is also the little detail that he directed his lawyer to commit two felonies in the process but never mind.)
Maybe it is time for Cohen or Omarosa to release some more tapes. I expect O. to release another recording soon, once things have settled down a bit. She likes to keep on the top of the newscasts and she is just waiting for another good opening.
It sounds like there’s emails, voicemails, canceled checks, memos… lots and lots of documentary evidence. This is no way, shape or form a he said/ she said type of situation.

This involved directing your attorney to pay off a porn star and Playboy bunny to the tune of way more than campaign contributions allow. And you funneled the money through corporations and didn’t declare it and, et cetera. You broke the law.
And it also involved conspiring with Russia to hack DNC servers and defraud the citizens of the United States on social media. That’s, um, what’s the word? Highly criminal if not treasonous. That’s Watergate to the power of Watergate level bad.

Well, the fact that Clinton did so under oath does, y’know, count for something.
That said, it’s not the lying about the affair that’s impeachable here. For starters, as Neal Katyal pointed out in today’s NYT, it’s the conspiracy. And the willful nondisclosure of campaign contributions. For starters. And that’s before we even get to Russia.
