Same shit McCain spouted. Here’s hoping he’s going to do just as well.
You offer your critical counsel to fellow Democrats in private, cognizant of the damage a public dressing down can cause:
Former Barack Obama aide David Axelrod is blasting Hillary Clinton’s “penchant for privacy” — in the wake of a “medical episode” that has left many wondering about the health of the Democratic presidential candidate.
“Antibiotics can take care of pneumonia,” Axelrod said Monday on Twitter, referring to Clinton’s diagnosis of pneumonia Friday. “What’s the cure for an unhealthy penchant for privacy that repeatedly creates unnecessary problems?”
During CNN’s coverage of the Democratic National Convention on Thursday, CNN Senior Political Commentator and former Senior Adviser to President Obama David Axelrod said that Democratic presidential nominee former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s speech was “effective” but that “***she didn’t give a great speech tonight***.”

In his role as an analyst for CNN, Axelrod has criticized Clinton’s style as a campaigner at other times, too. When it comes to political ads, he has said, “I would never use her reading a script; I don’t think she’s very good at it.” He has ribbed the Clinton campaign for saying explicitly that she will try to show more humor and heart — “#Justdoit,” Axelrod tweeted — and he has described her responses in debates as “solid answers” but “not necessarily winning ones.”

What kind of Democrat goes before an audience at Hofstra University, in the midst of a crucial and hotly contested Presidential campaign, and publicly lambastes their candidate? These are the actions of a loyal, committed Democrat? Nah, he's a traitor. He may as well work for the RNC. Sure, be critical in an attempt to improve or change your candidate's chances. But don't cluck about it in public forums. Just STFU.
Donald J. Trump will not tell you how He plans to keep us safe from terrorists!
2 reasons:
- He will not let the enemy in on His secret plan; and
- He has no fucking clue about how to accomplish this.
You’re welcome! Trump in 2016! Make America Great Again!
"The trouble with lying and deceiving is that their efficiency depends entirely upon a clear notion of the truth that the liar and deceiver wishes to hide." – Hannah Arendt
President Twitter sure is skittish and erratic after any attack on American soil.
he just cant help himself…if theres something to be a shit about he will find a way to do it
Thanks for collating all that. Looks like Axelrod has decided he needs to pay the bills, and CNN is the meal-ticket.
Say what??
CNN didn’t stroke him a check for the speech at Hofstra. He can’t fall back on the excuse his idiocy is part and parcel of what’s required of a news analyst. Apparently he’ll spew his ill considered, stupid BS to anyone that’ll listen to it, paid or not. He is not someone the Democrats need on their team.
LOL at lizzy. hey look I am as concerned as anyone about Trump winning. But seriously if Hillary’s campaign cannot beat this twit. Really she doesn’t deserve to win either. Her campaign should lighten up and stop being “outraged” over Trumps campaign and take Obama’s tone. Laugh at Trump say “you see this guy. He is encouraging I get assassinated. Freaking jerk” OR “Trump loves Putin cause he controls a country like a soviet state. What a great American upholding our values.” OR “look at Trump try and cater to African Americans. He wishes they would just shutup and serve him his lunch at his hotels.”
I am just tired of all the angst over Trump. He is a freaking JERK. No question. Blaming the media or Hillary which I have done is part of the equation. But the Invisible hand is not putting Trump within a chance to win the Presidency. People out there (VOTERS) are doing this.
Here is something to chew on: Voter turnout dipped from 62.3 percent of eligible citizens voting in 2008 to an estimated 57.5 in 2012. That figure was also below the 60.4 level of the 2004 election but higher than the 54.2 percent turnout in the 2000 election.Nov 8, 2012
So maybe 58% of eligible Americans will vote in November. Posters questioning what has happened to this country because of Trump should realize that a lil over half of people eligible to vote are deciding this election. Nothing is wrong with this country. It’s about turnout. Obama is right. Don’t BOO TRUMP… VOTE.
Obama won easily when 62.3 voted in 2008. Gore lost in 2000 with 54% and Kerry lost in 2004 with 60%. Obama won a lil closer election and tougher economy with 57.5%. I figure we need at least 57.5% for Hillary to win. It’s about getting the Democrats out to vote on Nov 8th.
well, no. he is not.
You are defined by your words and actions. Professing otherwise or undeservedly affixing a “D” to your salutation does not alter what you are. Tell me something, let’s say you’re married. Your spouse says or does something stupid at a party. Do you announce to everyone in attendance your wife just did something stupid, or do you two privately discuss what happened later and upon agreeing something could have been handled differently move on and try to do better in the future? If you castigate your wife in public you’re a lousy spouse. The same holds for a party loyalist and their nominee for President.
The visibility of cable tv makes his speaking fees higher-I still think he’s doing now what George Stephanopolous did after he left the Clinton White House.
If Obama can’t use his influence with Axelrod, then, yeah, you’re probably right.
She probably hit him over the nose with a rolled-up newspaper when she found out. Nice try, Kelly Anne, he will not behave, nor is he paper-trained.
Axelrod does have some issues with Hillary. Or perhaps with women more generally? I don’t know. His negativity against her has been so public, so nasty and so persistent I just can’t see any good faith.
Submitted without comment.
Has anyone told him that if he wins the election he isn’t going to be able to spend all his time on twitter?
No more tweets, HO, and I don’t think you could stand it.
There will be joy throughout the land .
If elected, Trump will likely take a page from the George W. Bush playbook:
- Do nothing to prevent attacks from happening.
- Overreact or misreact in response to those attacks.
- Later claim that his policies have kept us safe.
Trump still doesn’t get that in the Office of President everything that person does is logged, saved and stashed. Everything. Every time he goes in or out of the office, every last move phone call, conversation. No deletes. And as a candidate he should know. No take backs.
