Right - who knew that he was writing a political campaign manual?
WowâŚjust wow. She didnât scream, she changed her story, my person wouldnât do that, she had a penâŚsheâs delusional. The lengths these big brave men will go to discredit someone in their wayâŚand thatâs after they grabbed her and left bruisesâŚas per usual, itâs not the crime itâs the cover up. You morons should have just said you were sorryâŚ
Trump: Reporterâs Pen Could Have Been A Bomb
First Trump says he didnât see anything and that âeveryone said nothing happened.â Then Trump was afraid for his life because she had a pen/bomb in her hand.

This whole GOP primary cycle is like a trip through Aliceâs wonderland.
I like to play the imagination game and read his quotes back to myself with a thick Eastern European accent.
Worst. Excuse. Ever.
âShe had a pen in her hand, which Secret Service is not liking because they donât know what it is, whether itâs a little bomb.â
Clearly, reporters should be banned from carrying pens to do their jobs, because it might frighten the tiny-handed orange tyrant.
Holy. Shitsnax.
And as proof, The Donald has just posted this close up of Fieldsâ pen:
(â.â(âĚââ)â.â)
Iâd like to see hundreds of anti-Trumpsters meet his appearances by waiving pens in the air, ala Kerryâs flipflop BS.
When a Breitbart reporter is âjust another reporterâ, you know the conservative movement is mainstream, and Trump is now marshaling real conservatives.
This Republican nomination is a choice between whether the Party sticks with the fake, ineffective, conservative âmovementâ â the guys whoâve spent the last 30 years convincing the ignorant that theyâll fix pretend problems if only they can get a few more guys on the public payroll â or go whole-hog, far-right, true fascist conservative, because at least Hitler got things done.
Damned good thing Maxwell Smart Lewandowski was sharp and alert to the threat, huh?
Trump has serious mental problems!
Trumpâs fear of the pen reminds me of Irwin Mainway. He was the Dan Aykroyd sleazy marketer of dangerous childrenâs toys character (SNL from 1976)- âBag of Glassâ and âKen Doll complete with switchbladesâ toys. Towards the end of the bit the disgusted interviewer asks him about harmless toys- wooden blocks, a toy phone and a ball. âWhy canât you make harmless toys like theseâ? He proceeds to show in animated fashion how seemingly harmless toys can be tragic deaths waiting to happen. Classic SNLâŚ

Iâm sure Mrs. Greenspan and Chuckie and Georgy Girl and the rest will try like hell,
Donât forget David Brooks. In spite of his recent pearl-clutching over the insanity of the GOP*, we can all be confident that by the time the general election is underway heâll return to his natural state: Both Sides Do It High Broderism. Heâll suddenly start recognizing uncommon wisdom in the babblings of Trump, or magnificently-reasoned logic in the theocratic lunacy of Ted Cruz, or tender, Gandhi-like moderation in the policies of John Kasich. All, of course, in contrast to the reckless and dangerous radicalism of Hillary Clinton.
*Even though in one of his jeremiads, he refused to even once use the word âRepublicanâ when describing the source of the insanity.
Trumpâs secret service team must feel proud of his statements!
True. He should be arrested for assault on grammar and syntax.
I am becoming more and more convinced that his candidacy is an elaborate experiment to determine just how appalling he must be before his supporters begin fade away.
Trumpâs campaign is at risk level Netanyahu 5

I agree with @dommyluc above, that was the original plan, and it got out of control.
Performance art? I have the same feeling , but I think itâs just an internal rationalization we are having to try and understand the insanity in front of us. Any kind of art actually requires a fair amount of forethought and planning, the kind that Drumpf is completely devoid of.
Yeah, he wanted to win, still does. It all traces back to being humiliated by Obama at the Press Corps dinner. That was the moment when the idea solidified for him. He saw the opportunity this time around and pounced on it. All the press calling his candidacy a joke just made him want to win even more. The man doesnât handle humiliation well.
He doesnât necessarily want to do the actual jobâŚthatâs a different discussion. And I mean this with all seriousnessâŚI donât think he even grasps what the duties, responsibilities and limits of being the President actually are. The classic and still huge example of this is with regards to his businesses. He has no plan for dealing with them if he were elected. Turning them over to his wife or children to run is not an available option. And his businesses are too wide spread through the economy, and the world, for him not to be in a constant conflict of interest.
But, all that said, I donât see a path to the White House for him. The man still has yet to reach over 50% in a single stateâŚfor his own party. And my suspicions are that the wind is coming out of his sails right now. He loses WI. He probably wins NY because its NY and because Cruz tripped over himself with his stupid anti-NY rhetoric earlier. But everything after that is going to be heavy lift.
And even if he makes it toâŚand throughâŚa contested convention, the party will be the most fractured and unstable that we have ever seen in our lifetimes. Probably in our parents and grandparents lifetimes. And that spells electoral disaster in the fall.
Donât forget the important middle step in that evolutionâŚthat what happened was no big deal, she is just blowing it out of proportion becauseâŚlady parts.
Thatâs key because it shows that they were completely lying in the first iteration, and it shows that they were lying in that iteration when compared to the pen wielding reporter nonsense.
If nothing happened, then it canât be âno big dealââŚand if its âno big dealâ it canât be a radicalized journalist on a pen jihad.
