Discussion: Trump Defends Kicking Ramos Out: 'I'm Not A Bully' (VIDEO)

He’s probably never had anyone challenge him on anything (except maybe a wife, and reportedly those exchanges didn’t go well for the women); Trump-level money buys a lot of yes-men. But did Lauer really not challenge the “ranting and screaming” bs? Surely he saw the video; what kind of journalist wouldn’t… uh, never mind.

That’s what I don’t understand about his supporters. Do they honestly believe he can interact with other world leaders, given how he behaves now? You can’t fire the British Prime Minister, or kick the German Chancellor out of the room because you don’t like what they are saying to you. Even in house, does he think that Democratic lawmakers are just obligated to roll over for him? How do they expect him to govern? He can’t accept the reality that others can and will have differing views then he does.

Actually, the sitting reporters started badgering Trump with Ramos’ questions after he was escorted out, which presumably resulted in Ramos being allowed back in, and to have an extended back and forth with Trump.

But I fully agree the press has been cowardly for not calling Trump on specifics, etc. It took the courage of a non-mainstream journalist (Ramos/Univision) to be the first to bring Trump briefly down to earth.

If he thinks that Megyn is tough, wait until he faces Hillary assuming he and Hilary win the nomination of their respective Parties. Hillary would clean his clock.

I hope Ramos’ courage will help other reporters to wake up.

tRump ALWAYS characterizes people that challenge him as being emotional, ranting and screaming. He’s smart enough not to say crazy, but that’s what he’s implying- that there’s something obviously wrong with them for not buying into his BS.

I don’t think tRump was prepared for other reporters to question his actions. Journalists are not challenging tRump’s characterization of Ramos, they are also not calling him out on the lies he told regarding not having Ramos removed. tRump claimed to not having Ramos removed, then claimed to not know the man who removed Ramos. The guy is damn near pathological with the lying, and the media just laughs it off.

Yeah…labeling Matt Lauer a journalist is an affront to journalists everywhere.

It is clear and there is no question that Ramos just got fed up with other reporters kissing Trump’s ass, not asking real and tough questions.

Why didn’t Matt Lauer ask Trump why he claimed he didn’t know who Ramos was, and then minutes later refer to Univision and suing them upon Ramos’ return? That kind of was a no-brainer. I would have thought that was low hanging fruit for any reporter confronting tRump on his bullshit…but I guess that’s just too hard for a seasoned reporter like Lauer to figure out.

So tRump’s disingenuous bullshit is allowed to stand without even a scintilla of collegiality by Lauer coming to Mr. Ramos defense? Mr. Ramos was there to ask questions in an open presser, as is his right. Lauer is a terrible interviewer. He’s pathetic. So much for defense of a free press.

In a world where journalists maintain their professionalism and credibility, every last journalist at that press conference should have stood up and left the room with Mr. Ramos; leaving Trump to babble to himself and his buzz-cut goons.

Trump translation machine:

Trump is talking = “I am the greatest, I tell you! The greatest!”

Trump persistently overspeaks someone else = “It’s my right to do that because I am the greatest.”

Someone else overspeaks Trump (Note: persistent speaking, not raising of voice nor injecting voluble emotion into voice) = “He screamed at me”

People, people, people. Don’t you see? There’s a TrumpLens™ at work here. If Trump does it, it’s the greatest. If people like Trump, well, that’s Just How Things Should Be. If someone questions Trump, it’s Screaming, Rude, Awful.

Honest belief. Um, I’m not sure that they’re buying that. Trump is a projection of renewed bellicosity that’s been denied to the would-be bully.

We lost our swagger. We should be able to point our finger in anyone’s face and tell them to go to hell. They should all just delete their accounts, delete their lives, delete their whatevers.

And Our Man Donald Trump will do what’s right. He will give us back our swagger. He will tell them what’s what. He will tell the whole world to go to hell.

This is why BLM only attacks their friends.

Matt Lauer’s man crush on Donald Trump was sickening to watch. NBC and Mr. Lauer have shown why they have never been able to secure a first position as THE station to watch for news. It felt dirty to watch this farce play out, kind of like watching someone get a blowjob from his girlfriend in the backseat of the car parked next to you at the drive-in movie (and then asking your date if you can have one of those…just kidding before someone gets their back up and their panties in a wad). Yes, we still have drive-in movie places in the rural South (maybe other places, too, but I only know about the South).

I know I handful badgered him but the outrage that was due by all in attendance should have called for a walkout, I would have. Also he kept repeating he was screaming and no one said no he wasn’t, they all cower in fear of the great Donald. I also saw that assbite Joe Scarborough implying it was Ramos fault, sure he may have made himself a target but Trump made his choice to pull the trigger and send his mutt to kick Ramos out
