I am really beginning to harbor hopes that he actually believes himself a political genius, that he thinks the stuff he’s done to win over the aggrieved angry white men will win him the presidency, that he’s got no idea what “demographics” means, and that no one he’s willing to pay will tell him he’s fucking up by the numbers.
My real fear at this point is that the MSM is so hardwired in to the savvy, smart, insider, savvy narrative of the oh-so-savvy that candidates “Throw Red Meat to the Base in the Primaries and Move to the Center for the General™” that they’ll report that’s what he’s done and doing even if he doesn’t. And the thing about Trump is that the jumble of adverbs and adjectives that he spews out in lieu of sentences are kind of like a westernized “I Ching Hexagrams for Imbeciles:” so vague and indirect that you can hang just about any interpretation onto them that your subconscious dictates. So they can squint very hard at the stream of nonsense and project their programmed narrative right onto it.
And they’ll spend the entire long hot summer, the season when journalists brains turn to runny shit during an election year, doing it. They’ll spin an entire centrist populist agenda out of the stream of symantically null Palinspew he’ll be spreading before ever more frenzied crowds of protofascist losers all summer long, all the while going on and on about his “momentum” and acting like there’s some small question as to whether he can possibly win with nothing but angry working class white people in counties with a closed textile mill or furniture factory.

that is If your name really is Donald trump ,great strategy. And dumping on women and minorities that’s yuuge no one would of ever thought of that. And last but not least OMG who would of thought you could win with just white racist sacks of shit men that are worthy of the yuuge pot of bullshit strategy you fed them.
Expressing disdain for women and contempt for minorities may help Trump garner enough support to win the GOP nomination, but it’s not going to bode well in the general election.
He’s finally taking full responsibility for all those bankruptcies and the fraud associated with Trump University? This can and will be used in his upcoming trial. Keep talking, Big Mouth.
I’ll frame Manafort’s future earnings off of this comic book character, if Trump can be considered Mojo, then Manafort is perhaps Major Domo.
Like Major Domo, Manafort is clearly aware now that Trump will be Trump, will stay Trump and supposedly as his number one advisor on all things Trump, Trump has no problem dealing with the genius that is of course Trump. Manafort is very aware that as long as he (himself) doesn’t veer into Roger Stone territory, there will be plenty of media outlets looking for a temporary pundit to talk about governments and stuff…
If that last part fails, then always remember that this world is never short of dictators or sketchy governments

I have a gnawing feeling that we should not be slapping ourselves on the back and chortling so; he’s probably going to do much better than we think. He’s going to throw everything including the kitchen sink at Hillary - ‘corrupt’, ‘compromised’, ‘establishment’, all the right wing stuff that, sad to say, many of Bernie’s fans seem to love to recycle. And some of it will stick. He’s going to park his ass in the electoral-vote-rich parts of the rust belt and tell people how they’ve been screwed, and while he obviously doesn’t give a rat’s patoot about those people, they’ll go for him in a big way just because he recognizes that they exist. Meanwhile lefty Democrats are still droodling on about writing Bernie in, or voting Green. Oy.
And yet Politico and every other reputable fact-checking organization has rated nearly all of Trump’s statements on a scale from “mostly false” to “pants on fire lying” – with truth being the rare exception.
