Reality denial by any Republican is a dog-bites-man story, but it’s been entertaining to watch Trump moonwalk through the stages of grief after losing Iowa.
Acceptance - “There’s something called … ‘ground game,’ I think? Who knew?”
Depression - “It’s snowing, I think I’d rather stay here in my penthouse than go to NH events.”
Bargaining - “Please, please, it seems they don’t count rally attendance. Pretty please vote?”
Anger - “Cruz is a nasty cheater, I hate him, prolly gonna sue his ass off.”
Denial - “I really won! Amirite?”
Yes Donald, everybody now knows that Cruz is a crook! He will steal a campaign by any means necessary.
