Discussion: Trump Criticizes Carson: 'He Can't Do A Lot Of Things Like I Do'

                         Trump Criticizes

Yea ---- What else is new —

I speak from experience being a 70 year old white female still practicing professional! Thank you very much.

Hear Hear, well said!

I’m not sure how insulting 7th Day Adventists, complaining about a poll, and ripping the media would somehow hurt Trump. These just aren’t positions that are unpopular with the GOP base.

Carson is dishonest: He knows that scientific research using fetal parts is just as important as scientific research using the parts of a beloved child. We know he has done the first and in all probability he has done the second. His pretense that there is something morally wrong with the first is comical under the circumstance.

He knows very well that a fetus is not a baby and the extent to which being human depends on a developed and functioning brain system.

After a year or so, most all the country would be united… against Trump.

But I wonder if the fact that he’s dropped behind Carson in Iowa is proof (or at least suggests) that he is losing his grip with the Evangelicals here in Iowa. Insulting the Adventists can only make his slippage in Iowa worse. It’s a terribly immature response that he made in Jacksonville.

“Low T”.
So prolly.

He also likens it (somehow) to slavery. I think I am going to have a drinking game for the debate. A drink every time Carson mentions slavery, Hitler, the Holocaust. Bet no one will get through the first round of questions.

The Iowa caucus is such a nutty event that it misinforms more than it informs about national preferences.

2012 Santorum wins and Ron Paul is a close 3rd
2008 Huckabee wins easily
2004 nobody ran against Bush
2000 Forbes and Keyes take 2nd and 3rd, winning 45% of the combined vote
1996 Buchanan in 2nd was nipping at Dole’s heels
1992 nobody ran against Bush
1988 Robertson 2nd

The Iowa caucus evangelicals have a talent for throwing their support behind a holy roller who ends up looking like a duck on roller skates when the voters get serious about electability. Similarly, the caucus as a whole regularly elevates some way-outsider who has no business trying to get into the White House without a visitor pass.

“He’s very, very weak on immigration. And I’m very strong on immigration. He believes in amnesty strongly,” Trump said. “He believes on citizenship. I mean he’s going to give citizenship to people that are here illegally. You can’t do that. And, you know, we disagree on other things, also.”

This should be interesting. Trump has just set the stage to see who can be more anti-Mexican than the next guy in order to win the GOP nomination. Can’t wait to see where this goes.

Obviously demands that Sofia Vergara be deported. And yes I know she’s originally from Colombia.

Carson is doing so well because he sounds like a stereotype of the kind of black person certain white people will tolerate. Carson is docile, self-hating, and God-fearing. He’s nonthreatening. That’s how blacks are typically judged. All blacks are viewed as threatening first. And then recategorized as they “prove” themselves to white people.

Just say it Donald. He’s a black guy. Black guy can’t do business things like white guys. Sports yes, but not business. Funny that there’s something he’s finally hesitant to say.

Yup. I like to refer to that as, “he’s one of the good ones” mentality.
