Our so-called President undoubtedly called Macron to tell him about his huge and unprecedented landslide Electoral College victory that no one could have predicted.
He also probably mentioned the French elections.

I hope Macron replies diplomatically to the effect that the same people who hacked the DNC and the US Presidential elections, and who are Trump’s collaborators, attempted to do the same to him during the French pre-election campaign moratorium.
I also hope Macron points out to Trump that he (Macron) got 65% of the popular vote and that Trump didnt, and that Trump only won because of the Electoral College. And all the former KGB agents running Russia.

Actually, I doubt he’ll rage about LePen. He has no ideology and no convictions beyond pure self dealing. He wants to be loved and admired. He’s not likely to go out on a limb to support a losing politician just because that person’s viewpoints align with those of his base.
I don’t. Nor is it likely. Macron has no reason to go looking for trouble. He’s got enough to worry about at home.

But tweeting “Congratulations” is so impersonal. A phone call is so much more intimate. I’m waiting to see if he actually calls Macron. After all, Trump did call Erdogan after his victory in the Turkish referendum.
Merkel has already called Macron. I imagine other European leaders will as well. Let’s see if Trump does.
Maybe the Senate will actually look at the French, Australian, and Canadian health care systems as they work on American health care “reform”. At least Trumpers have been knocked back a little by the HUGE loss by Marine Le Pen (65-35 is an actual landslide not a trump-fantasy landslide…). Folks - we need to get the Dems back in the majority in the House - don’t wait until 2018 - right now we can help Ossoff in Georgia, Quist in Montana, and Archie Parnell in SC (Mulvaney’s old seat - which was held by John Spratt, moderate Democrat from 1983-2010).
